I love Tracy's voice and music and this is a great compilation. While her solo work is great, I hope they record and tour as EBTG again!

Tracy Thorn: simply amazing
It's a great compilation. Many of the songs I had never heard before so I was super excited. She has an amazing voice.

Agree to Disagree
She is not EBTG but everyone has to move on. I can't say that I love the CD but I'm a guy and she is a woman singing about a woman's maturation and the events leading up to it. You go Tracy, and thank you for always putting it out on the line. Glad to see that you and Ben Watt are still together raising your family and singing. Glad he is healthy. I respect your new stuff but have to say truly love your old stuff.

Fantastic but get the U.K. 2 disc version
Get the UK 2 disc version. See image below.I never understood why record companies create so many versions of the same release. This time, those of you who live in the United Stateshave a shortened 1 disc version of all Tracey's hits rather than the two disc that we in Canada, the U.K. and Europe received. The 2 cd is much better as disc one featured all her original singles (pop, soul, indie etc) while cd 2 was compiled by Ben Watt and contains all her club singles. Included as well are detailed linear notes in which she talks about the songs and how they came about etc.

American Single-CD Version is 'Missing' Many Wonderful Songs...Darn!
If you are thinking of buying this CD, DO try to find the UK or the Japanese version, which is a double / 2-CD set. I was so disappointed when this American release came in the mail the other day (from Amazon), as the pre-release information showed all 34 tracks which subsequently became available only as the Mp3 download version. Now...it would be easy to think that the first CD was a collection of songs and collaborations, as the title suggests, and it would be easy to think that the second CD would be remixes and re-works, but NOOOooooo! My favorite wonderful song "The Tree Knows Everything" a 1997 collaboration with Adam F, (somewhat hard to find) is missing on the single CD edition. "Easy," "Night Time," a 2005 collaboration with Tiefschwarz called "Damage," and 'Without Me' by Tevo Howard (2010) are missing, too. Also missing from the entire project is the song, "The Hunter Gets Captured By The Game" with Massive Attack (from the soundtrack album for 1995 BATMAN FOREVER soundtrack). Try to track down an import version or if you are happy with the lower quality digital downloads, get the full 2-CD version from Amazon Digital, don't buy this single disk...you'll be cheating yourself out of some great songs.

U.S. version of the CD is a SINGLE disc, not 2 CD U.K./MP3 album version...
Huge EBTG fan and love this package, however note the U.S. version of this CD is a SINGLE CD package and not the same as the import (2 CD) or the MP3 album for sale here. The 18-track list of songs is accurate for the U.S. version of this disc. This info was not made clear while this album was in pre-order status so too bad for U.S. fans (shame on you Caroline). Either way, love Tracey and Ben, long may you run!

Sublime collection from the Bedsit disco Queen!
Rare tracks and remixes all Tracey's solo stuff is here from before and after EBTG featuring a side of brilliantly sequences songs from the Indie folkie side and then a club Dj style remix set featuring Massive Attack Hot chip and Adam F! All in all essential for the Fan as there's so much extra material not on the albums and also a fabulous introduction to the newly smitten Fan!!
