Most vibram soles like like these lug soles have an anti slip and oil resistant quality (there’s a difference), so I try to stick with vibram lugs. You can read about that on their web site. I use these on all of my riding boots with leather soles (motorcycle) to avoid slipping on slippery streets. They make a big difference in confidence when I put my feet down on a wet or oily road. I haven’t slipped yet and I can feel the difference between these vibram soles and my other boots w regular rubber or crepe.
