From needle turning to using prepared shapes, the 50wt is thin and you can match your shape perfectly. 4. Machine applique' : Ideal when a very fine finish is desired. However, one of the spools had the thread coming out of two places in the middle of the top - no way to start using it. **Q: Where does the thread start pulling from?** A: The thread starts under the bottom orange piece. Gently twist the bottom piece off and you will see the end of the thread. **Q: What is Mako thread?** A: This thread is very high quality 100% cotton.
