If you are sure your truck uses r134a and PAG 46, it’s best to use what is specified. I think ester oil is equal to a 100 weight oil. I ordered ester oil because my system was converted from r12 to r134. After further research on the compressor, it called for PAG 46. Also important is how much oil and how much refrigerant to add.
