Wrangler Authentics Men’s Premium Twill Cargo Short

I decided to go with these Wrangler cargo shorts for work over the multitude of options listed on Amazon. I'm glad I did. Now, I wear these to work when it's warm/ hot outside because we're allowed to wear kaki/tan cargo shorts instead of the kaki pants. I've only had them a few weeks, but they seem to be of good quality. No loose stitches, not too thin of fabric, and they fit me perfectly. I'm 5'10, 185 and wear a 34 inch waist. Pockets are a good size, not overly large like most cargo shorts/pants. And they're velcro, so no buttons to contend with. I highly recommend these. I'll probably be ordering more of these in the near future.

These shorts are perfect! Im not much of a short guy but these fit perfectly and still look great after many washes. Very durable and comfortable to move in! I plan to buy a few more pairs!

I compared this item to several pairs of cargo shorts purchased from a clothing "seconds" reseller. Often high quality expensive items ended up here simply because the size label was incorrect, or stitching was slightly off. Yet those were well made and lasted nearly a decade. The Wrangler brand used to represent a quality pair of jeans, years ago.Pros: Main advantage: The fit is as advertised and comfortable in the crotch region and waistline. The fabric is thin, this may be what you want if you prefer a lighter fabric. There are 5 smaller cargo pockets instead of 2 large ones. It uses Velcro pocket closures. A side point regarding fit is that the crotch and groin region is snug in the Amazon Basics cargo shorts. It's "fine" if you never sit down. In addition, the fabric is thin and is likely not durable, another one of the "cheap disposable clothing". I can live with the Velcro but like buttons. I preferred the old shorts but they had expired from years of use and abuse.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was looking for a quality pair of camo shorts that had several features you dont find anymore in the cheaper, $19.99 camo shorts at Walmart, Target etc.I wanted a thicker camo material, darker, true-camo design, with a longer length in the thighs. I also wanted shorts with a quality, smooth operating zipper & pocket closures that actually worked - no more pocket flaps flapping around with your stuff falling out everything you sit down. With these shorts, the larger sewn-in velcro closure patches keep the pockets closed.The waist sizing is accurate too! No more 'Chinese XLs' that end up only fitting 13 year old girls.
