SPX1082K Weir Assembly Replacement Kit, Compatible with Hayward SP1082, SP1083, SP1084, SP1085，SP1086 Models.

One of these didn't make it through the winter and I ordered this one. Fit perfectly and very easy to install.

Granddaughter broke the hayward one thats been there for 14 years , i tried epoxying it but it snapped trying to put it in, bought this as a replacement, the tabs are much more forgiving than the original, went right in, looks and performs perfect, great buy if you need a replacement 👍🏻

I have never had to replace a pool skimmer door, so when mine got to where the door keep sticking in the closed position, I decided to replace it myself. When I tried to remove the old one, it broke off and Cam right off. I found two replacements on Amazon. One was the OEM from Hayward for alost $40 the second was this one from Bylot for half the price It snapped right on easily' and was a perfect.

Just got these today, popped them in and they fit perfectly. Have a older pool with a couple of Hayward 1082 skimmer assemblies. The weir doors in both had cracked and warped so ordered a couple of OEM Hayward parts from a pool supply house...they did not fit well at all. Kept sticking and then I would get air in the pump. Figured it couldn't hurt to try a non-OEM part and ordered two of the Bylot SPX1082 weir doors. Glad I did since these have a much better fit and no more sticking.

For some reason, it doesn’t stay in place. Not sure why?🤷‍♀️

Was concerned because the replacement part had an X in it but found out that means “replacement”. Had them installed in literally seconds. Makes a difference how the pool filters. So easy!
