I use this every single day! Great wax tart warmer!
I use this about everyday, running from about 9 am to 9 pm, in my kitchen. I have used it with multiple wax tart brands (Fortune Cookie Soap Company, Yankee Candle Company, Sonoma, etc.). I believe you can remove the top jar and use it with a candle but I have not done that yet.Even though I leave it running for 12 hours a day, it's still going strong months after I purchased it. It never gets too hot as to burn the wax or to tarnish the scent of the wax tart. The cord is not very long so keep that in mind. You would probably have to use this with an outlet that is level with the jar (like on a counter vs. on a nightstand where the outlet is lower). This is a good rule of thumb anyway in regards to a product that could spill hot wax everywhere if it was spilled.PRO TIP: When you are finished with the current wax tart, while it is still in a liquid state drop a cotton ball in there. It will soak up all the wax and you won't have to worry about dumping hot wax down the drain or melting your garbage bag! :)

6 years of use and still works great!
I bought this candle warmer in 2013 and it still works great. I was tired of the warmers which require a tea candle or a light bulb to heat up. The light bulbs constantly die and the tea candle is inefficient.I have been happy with my use of this candle warmer! It's lasted three moves and keeps kicking. I just stopped by this page to order my mom one and realized I should post a review.Excellent product. Easy to clean (just pour the wax out while it's still warm).

Burnt the table I had it on.
I was really pleased with this warmer at first. It seemed to be doing a great job and it never overheated. Then I realized that the table I had it on was getting totally scorched... It does what it's supposed to do but the base gets FAR too hot. The warmer is only about $15 but if left my $300 sidetable with a gross looking scorch mark on top. I've since moved it to a granite surface but am pretty disappointed that there's no disclaimer which states the risk of it burning whatever you set it on.

Good for the price
For the price, no one should have their standards too high on this product. I was scared to buy it because of the couple reviews talking about it starting a fire. I'm sorry but anyone who can actually read the directions can help prevent that from even occurring. Some of the reviews even said they used this as a coffee mug warmer. It clearly states to not use it for that purpose. And you wonder why there's sparks ?I had to get a new one because my other one was made of glass and it was cracking all over due to my dog bumping into the end table and knocking it to the ground. This product does its job and as long as you're not using it in an idiotic way, I don't see how it is such a hazard to have in your home. Read the directions when you first open the box and you'll be good. :)

Leaks wax like a sieve
I really really loved this warmer when I got it. None of the packaging was damaged, the components show no visible damage, but every single time I use it, wax seeps below the bowl and onto the metal warming plate. At first I thought it had been jostled, so I moved it. But, I have changed out the waxes 4 times now, and every single time I do, the plate beneath is just saturated with wax. I missed the return cutoff by a week, so I have to buy a new one. Very sad, I absolutely loved the look of this warmer, and it functions great, just a huge mess to clean up every time.

Warmer versus candles
I decided to try a candle/tart warmer because I have cats for the first time & did not want the cats to be burned due their curiosity. Also, many candles do not seem to contain as strong or as long lasting fragrances as they used to, & they all leave some soot in the air, & on the ceilings. While looking for fragrance oils on Amazon, I saw this candle warmer & because of it's size, price & shape, decided to try it. When it arrived, it was better than I expected. Size, shape & color were just right. It worked great for my needs. In fact I bought 2 more., One of which is in the bedroom where it provides the right amount of fragrance & no flame, no soot. I had heard of a study which said people sleep better when there is a pleasant fragrance in the room, so I thought I would like a fragrance of my choice without a flame or spraying something. This is my answer! In the kitchen & anywhere else, I now have the fragrance of my choice, when I want. I can control how strong, how subtle & what type so much easier now. These do become hot to touch, but I have not burned myself or anything around the warmer & the cats stay away from it unlike the candles that seem to draw them. The best thing is, I can "mix" fragrances to suit my needs, by simply adding a different tarts, or oils, resulting in scents where I prefer a particular stronger note of 1 over the others such as a stronger spice over vanilla or vanilla stronger than apple. I will order more of these in colors to blend into a room's decor. I want to smell the scent, not make the warmer a focal point & these provide what I want

Awesome For An Essential Oil Warmer
This Tart Warmer was purchased for aromatherapy to use essential oils because it is electric and not heated with a candle. This is how it works for me:Fill the dish half full of water and add 10-15 drops of essential oil, turn it on and the room is filled with a pleasant aroma within 30 minutes to an hour. Repeat 2-3 times a day if desired. The dish is removable for cleaning the oil residue. This is a safe item to use in your home and does not need to run all day. Generally, after 2-3 hours of use, the water starts to boil away and your essential oil has dissipated. The only dislike I have is the power indicator light, its next to the cord and not very bright. Its like the power indicator is on the back and not helpful to see if the warmer is on. I just started using a timer to turn it on a few hours a day without any concern of it burning all night. This tart warmer works well for my needs and is not very expensive to order one from Amazon.
