Official Xbox 360 500GB Replacement Hard Drive

I wanted to play an original Xbox game on my Xbox 360 S, but I was unable to because I was lacking a hard drive. I bought the Xbox 360 500 GB hard drive, and after inserting the hard drive into the console, I was able to play that original Xbox game. Putting the hard drive in was super easy. All you need to do is view the right side of the console (near the back). The side in question looks like a grill, and it should be the one with the latch that opens the hidden door. Then you insert the hard drive into the secret compartment and voila. It’s super beginner friendly and it does not require any skill whatsoever.

I was really skeptical..I looked at this product many times without a purchase because of the bad reviews and price ... I finally bought the hard drive a few weeks ago. IT IS AWESOME. Worked just as described. Arrived in what seemed to be original packaging. Was absolutely able to play original xbox games!! Great buy.

This works just like it should for our Xbox 360 slim. Although their are much cheaper options for hard drives, I felt better purchasing an "official" Xbox hard drive and I'm glad I did. This provides us with more game storage so we can play more games. I'm happy but my kids are super happy!

I found a 360 E in a thrift store with no cables or hard drive for $20. So I bought a power supply, HDMI, a controller for less than $100. The Hard Drive was harder to come by. It was the most expensive part of the process because I wanted the official Microsoft hard drive. $119 is very high for 500GB but they are out of production and are the most reliable model. So far my 360 is running well and storing a good number of my games. May have cost $240 but it was worth it.

Fits in the external hard drive spot on the right side of the console and the cover goes back over it like you would never notice you have a external hard drive !! I love it, makes the original Xbox games work like a charm!!

This was a simple plug and play scenario. I purchased this for my son's unit which only came with the 4 gig internal drive. As soon as it was plugged into the bay, it worked perfectly (since Christmas 2019). Now my kids can play the games that were requiring the additional space.

Worked 100% on my 360e. Super quick install, and immediate results. Thank you. You've resurrected some old XB games I haven't been able to play in a loooong time.

First off this was not a new product - which would have been ok if it was in good condition and functioning - the box was really beat-up and held together by tape. When I installed to drive (per the instructions) the Xbox displayed an error box stating the hard drive was damaged/failed. I tried reinstalling it 5 times and went through multiple troubleshooting guides to fix the problem. All pointed to the same conclusion, I was sent a broken/failed drive that is worthless; and I have no idea if I can get refunded. I would be glad to change my review if they would send me a drive that functions...for now, Don't Buy From Them!

Fonctionne nickel avec ma Xbox360 Slim, grande capacité, produit officiel (permet donc la rétrocompatibilité avec les jeux de la première Xbox). Que dire de plus, si ce n'est que le prix reste abordable.

La xbox 360 slim de 250 se quedaba corta ya que ahora con el gold regalan dos juegos cada mes y hay muchos mas de oferta, con todo en digital ya nos ocupara la mitad del disco duro yo personalmente ya tengo con juegos y dlc's de algunos mas juegos instalados en hdd unos 225Gb de material metido ademas la consola funciona mejor ya que tiene mas memoria para uso del sistema en concreto de 500Gb solo disponemos de 460Gb los otros 40 para el sistema, en cambio en 250Gb teníamos creo 220Gb con 30 para el sistema con lo cual se nota el rendimiento algo mejor cargas de partidas, velocidad en cargar texturas en algunos juegos o mas soltura en el movimiento de los menús de nuestra xbox 360, es muy recomendable su compra 30/05/23 Compré otro de segunda mano y esta en muy buen estado, tiene un rendimiento muy bueno aunque sea de segunda mano parece bien cuidado.

Hard Disk perfettamente funzionante! Ho optato per la variante originale a causa delle numerose recensioni negative riguardo i prodotti compatibili. Il prezzo non è stato eccessivo. Lo consiglio a tutti coloro siano alla ricerca un prodotto affidabile e a chi non ha voglia di combattere con l'assistenza. Amazon come sempre eccezionale!
