You need this for your bike
After wrecking all the screws on a Mikuni carb, I decided I needed a real set of JIS screwdrivers. These are great, easy to grip, and they actually work on your japanese motorcycle! So happy I don't have to pay extortionate prices for OEM fasteners after I butcher a valuable NOS Keihin or Mikuni anymore!

Don't mess your bike up buy these you'll like them
I use these when I tore apart the carburetors on my 1984 Honda nighthawk 650 and my 1986 Honda Rebel 250. These are absolutely a necessity if you're working on any Japanese bike. Those are not Philips screws that you're looking at!!!! They are jis!!! Do not strip your JIS screws by using Philips screwdrivers you will mess them up. These are cheap and they work awesome it's worth the investment especially if you're working on your own bike.

Not a true JIS, but work as intended
The new specs of screwdrivers tend to fit very well within the JIS, These aren't exasctly JIS, but fit a lot better than a standard phillips. These are the new style which work well with both JIS and Phillips. Regardless a very high quality screwdriver at a great price.

Nice set of screwdrivers made to JIS standards....
And no, the handles do not feel like they are made of cheap plastic as one negative review stated. My husband checked them out and said they were good drivers and the handles were well made for a set of drivers in this price range. This is a set of smaller screwdrivers manufactured to Japanese Industry Standards (JIS) that does not contain any longer or thicker drivers. My brother-in-law suggested this set to me to use with my mid-level higher-end sewing/embroidery machine which is made in Japan. I tested the drivers on a few screws and they fit and worked perfectly. Since they are not magnetized, he also suggested an inexpensive magnetizer. which I also purchased. If someone is in need of a set of JIS screwdrivers for repairing bikes and motorcycles made in Japan one should put out the money to buy a good Vessel brand or other more expensive and extensive set of drivers. For my sewing machine this set was just right.

Mandatory for Japanese Dirt Bikes
A JIS screw is not a Phillips, and you will eventually strip them using a Phillips head driver. These are difficult to find in stores, but are invaluable to any one maintaining japanese dirt bikes IMO

Needed if you are working on carbs, especially jet ski carbs. Prevents stripping screws which saves time and money.
