I hope to use this TV for many more years.
I got this for the 2016 Olympics. It has an excellent sharp picture for sports action. The 65 inch screen is big enough for a large room. In our family room I sit 20 feet away and it is about right. I bought it more than 3 years ago and I am still very happy with it. I have had it hooked up to Wi-fi, cable, antenna, sound bar, and blu ray player: everything works just fine. I have 3 criticisms. First, the onboard speakers are underpowered and you definitely need a sound bar or speaker system. Second, the remote could use a much more prominent MUTE button. Third, I have another system with better organized smart features: these are just Ok. Overall, great machine. I have had zero problems with it and I hope to use it for many more years. p.s. get several spare remotes.

LG 55UH6550 TV
We have now had this tv for 1 month and I am completely satisfied with the features, build quality and picture produced. Before purchasing this tv, I did a lot of research and concluded, that this was the best bang for the buck. Below is an unbiased review, and neither LG or the store have offered free merchandise for this review. The Good Stuff:Picture Quality: Is actually very decent for a 4k television. Its not Samsung crystal clear, but it is on par with the price-point and LG brand. Its hard to sum up in words, but I will try. The colors are vibrant, crisp, and smooth. As long as you have 4k content, it will display very nicely. If you display 1080p or lower, you will see a difference in quality, but you cannot blame the tv for trying to upscale something that does not have enough pixels or data to display correctly.120hz Motion: I really wish this tv had offered 240hz, but that can only be found on a higher priced tv. 120hz will suffice for most content. However, some fast scenes may blur or even pixelate at times. Its noticeable, but not to the point, that it will ruin the content displaying.Speakers: The built in speakers are actually very nice. They do a good job at simulating surround sound, and providing bass when needed. We have a sound bar connected to our tv and it does a great job at filling the living room with adequate sounds when needed.Ports: There are plenty of ports, and they are side mounted!!! This really helps when running cables through the wall to our media center. If you still us VGA or more than 2 HDMI cables, then you might consider upgrading if possible. Only 2 HDMI ports and 1 USB port are side mounted.Built-In Apps: They actually work well. If the app provider has 4k content, and your internet speed is fast enough, it should display correctly. We currently use wireless AC @ 200mbps, and we are able to watch 4k content with HDR colors. Our internet is broadcast wirelessly and we havent had an issue with the tv sharing the signal with other devices.Size & Weight: We purchased the 55" and for the screen size, the weight is perfect. Its about 45lbs and easy for one person to hold, while someone assists in plugging in cables and wall mounting it. This tv does come with legs, so displaying it, is at your preference. We have ours wall mounted and it looks great. The Cons......Smart Remote: LG does not include a smart remote, which is a bummer. But you can easily log into LGs website and purchase one if you must have it. I honestly could careless, it doesnt affect my viewing pleasure and if later on I want one, they are easily obtainable.Keyboard: This tv offers web browsing, which is a cool feature. HOWEVER, only certain LG keyboards are supported. It would have been nice if LG would allow any bluetooth keyboard to connect.---------------------------------------------------------------------------Overall, this tv offers a lot for the price point. If you absolutely want the best, then shop Samsung and be prepared to spend $2500+... However, if you would like a very nice 4k experience on a more affordable budget, then this tv will easily keep your media room feeling nice and upscale. I would consider this an entry level 4k, but it does not look or feel cheap in any way. In fact, it is a very nice build with many quality features.I hope this review has helped those considering this product. Needed repair
It worked for about a week, then began turning itself off and on. We called LG and they sent a repairman who replaced the motherboard. That lasted for a week and failed again. Repairman came back and did it again. This time the repair seems to be working. LG is good about the warranty repair, but I would recommend the extended warranty too.

Just in time for the big game
My gift to me! Best quality picture and a snap to set up, add to this the ability to go directly online to Hulu and Netflix is awesome. This could not have been a better bargain.

Absolutely Massive
Did I need a 65in TV? Nope. Did I buy a 65in TV? You bet your ass I did.Obviously there's not a ton of 4k content out there, but this television's upscaling software does a good job of making sure lower resolutions still look pretty good. Under 720p looks like shit though, so there's that. Some TV stations are still just putting out SD content thats just been converted to HD before it hit the transmitter so if your favorite station is till doing that you're gonna have bad time.Plenty of ports for just about everything, great colors, and very even backlighting. I've been nothing but satisfied with this purchase. If I really wanted to nitpick it does flex if you're moving it which can be a little scary, but how often are you going to be moving a 65in TV?

easy to operate
Overall, easy to operate. More intuitive than we think most might be. Picture quality seems good for the technical features and for the price.

A great picture for a good price
I received my LG TV about 3 days ago, so this review is a bit preliminary. I really felt the 6550 was a great deal based on the performance of the TV. I find the picture to be spectacular although not perfect. Remember this is not a 3000.00 television and should not be expected to perform like one.PROS-Awesome colors and details-4k is amazing-WEB OS is really easy to use-Set has both wifi and bluetooth connectivity-The bezel is nice and thin-The screen inst overly reflective compared to the mirror on my last SamsungCONS-Black colors are a little grey-Only 3 HDMI connectors-No HDMI connectors on the sides or bottom of unit-Power plug on the back deviated from standard, resulting in me having to fish a new power cable-VESA mount bolts do not come with the TV..I had to go to Home Depot and buy M6 machine screwsSUMMARYAll in all I am very happy with my purchase. The 65" viewing experience has been awesome and the unit has worked flawlessly since the setup. Remember this TV is all about getting the best bang for your buck and from that aspect it totally delivers.

Not Happy
I loved the LG TV and the functionality of it. It's one of the very best UI I have ever used. I am reviewing this product after using it just over a year. Problem is that the screen has 3 lines coming from top to bottom and 2 white dots showing up on screen. Now I have to live with that. Which is painful. I don't know why it happened. But I still like my TV. I didn't buy any protection on it and now I regret it. I wish it didn't have those lines on the screen.

but picture is great, colour is great
blacks are not as crisp as they could be, but picture is great, colour is great, so far so good. Wish it came with the magic remote, but the android app works well in place of.

Awesome tv! Great delivery by Amazon!
Tv is great! Picture is great and having the convenience of a smart tv is super handy. Our first time ordering a high end electronic device off amazon and couldn’t be happier with the service. Delivery was fast and they waited while we opened the box and checked that the tv was in good shape.
