This is a great kit at a reasonable price. Includes everything needed to fix an iPod touch 4 gen display including the adhesive which is necessary for a good fit & a replacement home button for a complete look. Shipping was quick & parts were of a good quality.

I just successfully installed this screen on my iPod and this is not a job for the faint of heart! Even though I have worked on lots of iPhones, I would rate this as a much tougher item to work on than an iPhone. The components are tiny and really jammed in tight on the iPod and many parts are delicate and very easy to break. If you are not very experienced at this type of repair, don't even try it!The instructions are printed very small and, although detailed, are lacking in some respects. There are other places online to get the instructions, so this is not a big deal for me. The instructions are especially lacking as to reassembly. There is a connector on the back of the logic board that is easy enough to remove but it is very difficult to install the new one because the logic board can't be lifted enough to see, let alone properly place the new connector. You really need good light and, better yet, magnification to do the work.The screen itself seems to be of the same quality as the old one. The adhesive is a full die-cut sheet that includes the tiny strips that go down the sides. I haven't installed that yet as I want to see if there are any problems first and my case holds the screen on anyway. My kit came with a new home button but it did not work properly so I used the old one. Also, there were no instructions for installing the new button. It does not come with the home button switch and ribbon cable that is on the logic board.If you are thinking of trying to install this kit, I suggest you check out the videos on YouTube and/or ifixit before you puschase.

Very nice replacement kit. Loved that it included everything necessary to do the repair. Everything worked perfectly. I've had a little issue with the adhesive not holding very well, but that may be my fault for not getting the old adhesive cleaned off very well. Otherwise, it's working great.

Arrived quickly. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Got it all hooked up and ready to install, and when i was VERY gently pressing it into the adhesive, the screen broke into about 7 pieces when i got to the top edge. It was lined up and i was doing everything carefully and right. Its less than half the thickness of the original glass and apparently EXTREMELY fragile. If someone could get it installed in one piece, the resolution does look the same as on the original screen. LCD seems great, but the glass.... that is another story.

There are reviews that say it is difficult to replace the screen. Quick search on youtube and 15 minutes later your ipod will be fixed. Awesome product with no issues after screen replacement. Take your time, follow the instructions and you'll be a satisfied customer. Turned my old broken screened ipod into an almost brand new music/app machine. Love it!!!

We put it on to make sure it fit 2 times. Then when putting it on permanent it cracked. Could of been our fault but screens r weak.

I've done many many repairs on 4th gen ipods and this is by far the best quality screen I've used so far. Very nice packaging, comes with good quality tools and adhesive, and the screen itself is amazing

It came with everything needed and instructions. The instructions were a little small but we're helpful. I gave it only 3 stars because after I spent all the time putting it back together there was a line across the screen once I turned it on. The glass isn't cracked so it has to be underneath. I was extremely careful and don't think I did it, however I didn't notice the line before.
