Itโs works and will get you back on the road
Yes itโs $20. The tool is going to feel cheap. Just be careful with it. I was in a pinch and no where local had clamps that were big enough for my cv axle. A day later this was at my door and Iโm back on the road.

They work. But Need to be machined a little diff IMO
Works good if you can get the middle part of the pliers to stay down. The piece is almost too long. But I got them to work after watching some videos. Tried it on a bottle for practice. Not all bad but it worked eventually.. if you take the middle piece out it works great but canโt crush it down if itโs not attached.

Terrible Tool !
DO NOT buy this tool ! As other users have mentioned, the center stop is too high and will not allow the jaws to grab the ends of the clamp. It broke after the second use and is being returned,

Good bands awful tool
The clamps themselves are good. I had to trim two of the larger ones to fit my Cv boots. The crimp tool is horrible. Thankfully I have better crimping tools. I couldnt even crimp one of these using the tool it comes with. Went straight in the trash

Awesome delivery time, clamps are good quality
Delivery time was awesome ๐ as it is ATV rally season in Canada ๐จ๐ฆ I am repairing alot of broken, cracked cv axle boots on both quads and ATVโs. I found that the OEM boot clamps to be very expensive and of not great quality so I purchased the Alpha Rider cv boot clamp kit and found the cv boot clamps were better than OEM quality but found the clamp pliers to be a bit flimsy and I donโt believe they would last. luckily I have a a good pair and I would highly recommend this product ๐๐๐

Rings work well, clinching tool works, but feels flimsy as it is made of a soft stamped metal.
Ring bands worked well on sealing both inner and outer CV boot ends. Ultimately I used a different set of pliers to compress the cinch band clasp (Channellock End Cutting Plier). The cinching tool feels like it is made of a soft steel. It would get the job done, but it just feels cheap. What matters most is that the bands properly tighten around whatever needs to be cinched - and that they do.
