Great tuner. Discrete design.
Compact design. Awesome value. Works great, visible in the sun, stays in place, does not rattle, haven’t had to replace battery yet but I turn it off after tuning. Although does have auto shut off. a must have for every acoustic guitar.

Unobtrusive and Works very well
There are a lot of very good digital guitar tuners now, but I always thought most of them made a fine looking guitar really ugly when the tuners were clamped on the peghead. This one slips into the sound hole, and is visible from just underneath the sound hole's lip. Its ver easy to see when playing the guitar, and so unobtrusive an onlooker wouldn't even notice it at all.The little control buttons have to be pushed with the thumb, but they're easy to find and easy to work. The device sets snugly on some small silicone pads that protect the finish, and requires a practice try to learn how to put it on and take it off, but once you learn it, it's easy. An it's very secure when installed.Another nice touch is the battery can be removed and replaced easily while the tuner is installed. The manufacturer recommends removing it when a guitar will be stored for a long time, but can stay put under normal use.I really like it. The tuning is fast and accurate with no jitters. The display is always shaded by the placement, so it's always brightly seen, and it keeps my old guitar looking as elegant and handsome as ever. I'll probably buy a couple more of them for some other guitars. This is an item that is designed solely for acoustic guitars or other acoustic instruments with a round sound hole. They won't work on a solid body or a guitar with F-holes. But it should fit any guitar that has one; it's quite small.

Great accurate, out of the way little tuners.
I've purchased two of these now. I've checked them against Snark clip on tuners, the inbuilt tuner on my Valeton GP-200 multi-effects processor, a pitch app on my phone, and the ReaTune plugin for my DAW. They are more accurate than the Snark, and on equal level with effects processor. ReaTune and the app on my phone are more consistent and accurate with each other. I've been using the D'Addario tuners since I bought the first one months ago. I love having the tuner concealed in the sound hole, rather than sticking off the headstock. Also, the number of times I've sent a clipon tuner flying by bumping a wall, a person, a couch, a guitar stand, whatever... I'm happy to never have that issue again.

Good but not durable
The tuner works fine and provides the option to change the tuning frequency/pitch. Tuning is very easy and straightforward. I keep it in my guitar sound hole and is small enough to not affect playability and is not noticeable. The reason I deducted one star is because mine stopped working after just over a year so its durability is suspect.

Wonderfully visible and accessible!!
I played guitar for many years and had numerous different types of tuners, but this one really impresses me! It’s completely out of the way but very easy to see because it light up brightly in color, and it is very accessible : you’re looking right down at the sound hole to use it. I’m going to replace other tuners. I have with this one. I especially like the fact that if I am playing my guitar outside and competing with the sun to see the screen, this eliminates that issue!

You Will Love This Tuner (If it Fits Your Guitar)
The D'Addario PW-CT-15 tuner is barely noticeable on my guitar, so I leave it installed for immediate use any time. It works great, because it's easy to read from the player's position and is more accurate than a headstock tuner. My guitar sounds better than ever when I use this tuner.I'm glad I wasn't scared away by the negative reviews posted by some users. Here is my take on the issues they raised:(1) Guitars come in all shapes and sizes. This will fit most, but not all. Before buying the tuner, make sure that the clip will fit on the wood around your sound hole. For example, it might be too snug if you have an extra layer of reinforcing wood around the underside of your sound hole or a thick pick guard very close to the hole. A flat area up to 6/16" from the edge of the hole and up to 2/16" thick should be fine. Some reviewers reported that the clip was too loose for them, but the current model has a metal spring that should hold the tuner in place on thinner tops.(2) Guitars also have different bracing patterns. Make sure yours has room for the tuner between the hole and the bracing. You need space for the shape of a triangle with the corners cut off about 1-3/8" wide (accross the hole) and about 3/4" deep. For example, in the Taylor line, it fits my Grand Auditorium guitar with X bracing, but it might not fit in a GS Mini or anything with V-Class bracing. [UPDATE: I got a new guitar and can confirm that it works fine on a Taylor GA with V-Class bracing if you put it in the 7:00 position instead of 6:00. You can still reach the power button and see it fine.](3) Press the metal release tab to take the battery out without breaking the plastic tabs that also hold it in place. The manufacturer's video shows this clearly.(4) Install and remove the tuner carefully to avoid breaking the clip. This is easy to do, as shown in the manufacturer's video. For me, this is a fabulous upgrade at a very reasonable price.
