The Official Pokémon Encyclopedia: Updated and Expanded

I bought this book believing that it would be a proper encyclopaedia of Pokemon. ALL of them. It does NOT cover Galar. The only pages on Galar are the ones in the photo I have uploaded here. In fact this book is really a record of the TV series. It has lists of Pokemon from each region with brief stats on them. I thought I was buying a book with pictures of the Pokemon on each page and info about them, similar to an encyclopaedia on dog breeds. Very disappointed with this book.

Only 2 pages about the Galar region - rip off

Like others have said, the new Galar pokemon are sorely underrepresented in this book. I bought it thinking it would be expanded with way more about the new Galar Pokemon, but it isn't.However, my daughter hasn't owned a copy of this book before and loves it, hence the 4 stars. She has pretty much read the entire thing now, after having it for a few months.Great book that's worth the price if you haven't owned another version of it in the past.

This is a great book for any Pokemon fan. It came out in 2020. I bought it for the sin of one of my cousin's who is a huge Pokemon fan.It is super detailed, has nice pictures the only thing is, it lacks the newest Pokemon in it.I read it and I liked the book. I used to be a Pokemon fan when it first came out in Ireland in 1997.

I purchased 2 of these. Perfect gift for a pokemon fan. Very sturdy and well made. For a family of pokemon fans these have been read by many and still great condition.
