Very soft on both the inside and outside, and so far has survived about 5 washes with no damage done. It’s a perfect size and weight to use indoors. It’s warm but not overwhelming. I love the pattern and color Edit: after a year of every day use, the underside of my blanket has become horribly pilled. It’s still comfortable and it’s a shame because the top of the blanket is still very soft.
