MCAT Complete 7-Book Subject Review 2022–-2023: Books + Online + 3 Practice Tests (Kaplan Test Prep)

I did my bachelors several years ago so this is great for content review. I’m also planning to do the full w exams. As for questions, it’s best to go with the official materials. Only thing, some of the pages are upside down (pics attached), which is annoying and calling Kaplan’s customer support doesn’t lead you anywhere.

Covers 90-95% of the material well. Would recommend for content review.

I am so glad I decided to go with this maker. It is easy to understand and has lots of valuable resources. It further has information that is valuable that I was not provided when I have taken the particular subject I was reviewing. I would definitely recommend this item. The quizzes that are provided even have an explanation if you answer the question(s) incorrectly which is very helpful.

These books make sure you master the subjects as concisely as possible. They have great practice problems with solutions and a summary in every chapter. The explanations are detailed and their are many opportunities to test your understanding. After reading these books you will have learned and practiced all the material needed for this test.

I was a little skeptical to buy these because some photos showed that the books got messed up during printing and others were having difficulty accessing the online materials. However, I did a lot of research and read many helpful reviews (as I suggest anyone buying this should do as well) and after receiving the books, I am very satisfied with my purchase overall.Yes, some of my books did come with printing errors where there are just random blotches of ink stains on the pages. However, it was really not that bad and did not make it difficult for me to study the material at all. Also, following some very helpful instructions from an awesome review on here, I was able to access the online material for up to a year. So yes, these books do come with online material as well.I have been through 4/7 books so far (inorganic/organic chemistry, biology, and biochemistry) and believe that the price I paid for this set was well worth it. (As a side note, please be aware that these books/online material alone will not guarantee that you get a high MCAT score, so please also look for other resources to help you study.)

I was very excited for these to come in. Unfortunately the box that holds the books came torn, the books were okay though. I taped the box and it's fine now. Just be aware of this

For the first time in quite awhile I am actually pretty excited to study, to learn, and test my knowledge. I am pretty rusty on many of the topics in these books, but Kaplan does an excellent job of making explanations extremely clear. While some areas are long, and overly detailed, I'd prefer that over any other resource. Especially the ones that seem to assume you already have physician-level knowledge. Do well on the concept checks and the discrete practice questions and you should have no problem applying yourself when it comes to test time. For the price, you seriously can't go wrong.My books came with no misprints, no easily identifiable spelling errors or damage of any sort. I made sure my purchase was shipped by AND sold by Amazon; not a marketplace seller. I suggest you do the same.

Came in great shape! Skimmed through for pinting errors that many people mention AND FOUND NONE! Listen to me people, DON'T CHEAP OUT OKAY! I made sure, and then made sure again, that this product was being sold and shipped by AMAZON ONLY. Saw the product go down in price $100 after I bought it, but it was for some reason being sold by a bookstore (virtual) instead. so please make sure that the bookset is being sold and shipped by amazon if you want the perfect set :)

all the info you need to know is in in there and you don't need to hunt through your copy of Lehningers to find the relevant paragraph. tbh tho science doesn't change and aamc has on their website a pdf with everything you need to know for the mcat so you could just use your textbooks and supplement with the books you need but i guess it was reassuring to have something official. ochem book is useless tho you don't need to memorize any mechanisms and the psych/soc and physics could have gone more in to depth on stats/study stuff. also i never got the practice tests they weren't free.

Loved the fact that the explanations are clear and tell you exactly what you need to know.Some of the examples in the Physics book are a bit lacking, so you may need to reference external sources in order to be completely confident in the section.Physics concept checks are also not the best in comparison to the other books’ concept checks, so I would definitely suggest relying on a second source as well to ensure you understand it completely.Diagrams are very clear and show you what you need to remember.Overall definitely a great choice!

Just purchased these books and upon review noticed that some pages through the books are flipped upside down and out of order? Seems like a printing error. Shown here is a big section of chapter 6 and 7 of the biology book that is misprinted.
