Maybe it was because I didn't have a power drill at the time. But after buying a drill a couple years ago I decided to try the brushes and see what the talk was all about. and let me say... I REGRET not buying these SOONER.These things work GREAT!!! Originally I purchased the white ones which are good for mirrors, glass, carpet, upholstery. But if you want to tackle tougher stains buy the Yellow. This is the medium stiffness and works for bathrooms, kitchens, tiles, linoleum... If you purchase the green ones those offer the same medium stiffness for auto use (tires, wheels, rims) but the color differentiates it so you won't ever mix the two.These brushes came in and I was excited to use these on my bathroom tile. It cleaned in a record amount of time. You can use to clean the tub, floor, sink, tile.. Almost anything you can shoot at it within your home. If you get these you will not regret. I only wish the extension came with this set. Just used in an impact driver for prepping about 400 sq ft of wood deck in rough shape-- held up well. Removed peeling stain and buffed surface without scarring wood. Better than a wire brush for this purpose.

Bought these and some knockoff brushes... there is a noticeable quality difference. If you can afford it and care about what you're cleaning, get these ones. They're handy. I have the black ones and the yellow bathroom brushes, they work with the "good" drill and with the cheap drill. They definitely last longer than the knockoffs.

Description says can be used for removing rust and loose paint. When prepping some older patio furniture for repainting, tried these. Still had to use a wire brush. Will keep as I think they will be useful for other cleaning stuff, just not useful for the reason I bought them
