Is it appropriate for a 6 year old?

I think 6 is too young. I bought it for a 12-year-old year old who is really great with Legos, and I think that is more appropriate. Maybe as young as 10, but that’s pushing it. The pieces are thinner / more delicate than Legos and it’s important to hold the build just right when adding pieces, or the elements come apart. Don’t get me wrong - I think this is a great product and the recipient of my gift loves it. It just requires a bit more delicate handling and patience than Legos.
