I bought this OXO Good Grips Classic Ice Cream Scoop to replace my old one, which had a plastic lever that broke after only a couple of years. We eat ice cream pretty regularly in this house, so when my old scoop bit the dust, I was very disappointed. I finally found the perfect ice cream scoop! This works perfectly, is dishwasher safe, is the perfect size, and is sturdy. It scoops ice cream with no problems and doesn't have a gross coating that will rust or peel off like others. I was so happy with it I bought the smaller version to use for my cookies!
