Worked as advertised. Used it to hold a mirror in place (on a wooden frame). Tape adheres strongly to wood. Be sure to take the time to position the tape correctly because once it's placed, it's placed. After placing the tape, you can still remove it (with a razor blade, for instance), but you cannot reuse it.

I wanted to re-use an 80-year-old gilded wood frame because it fits perfectly for an unframed lithograph, both in size and style. The frame is delicate, and the wood comes off in little slivers, so re-stapling would not work. I tried two different types of tape for framing, and neither worked. Both started lifting after several weeks. I came across this tape on Amazon, and based on the reviews, I thought I would try it. The adhesive side is sticky. Once it is put in place, it will come off, but not without damaging the surfaces. Use carefully. So far, so good. I am pleased with the result. We'll see if it holds over time.

Easy to apply and rip from the roll. Perhaps a little too easy to rip as once it is placed, you will have a hard time removing and repositioning without ripping. There is plenty on the roll, so you can work with smaller strips. The tape will rip if you are trying to press it into corners after it has been applied.

Purchased to keep a piece of Luan wood in place as a picture backing on a frame. Served the purpose. Easy to apply, smooth surface and cuts really nice with a straight blade or exacto knife. Plenty to spare on this roll. Probably will never need to purchase another roll. Fair amount for the price. Amazon comes thru again.

I bought this for the back of a picture frame, to hold a drawing in place. I cleaned the frame surface with alcohol first but after about 15 minutes, the tape started coming up. I ended up using packing tape instead. It sticks well enough to paper, so I'll keep it to use on other things. This probably won't work well for most framing projects.

This is good tape. It was very easy to apply to the back of my frame to hold the backing on. It is very strong, so best to place it right the first time.
