It is a functional work of art. Truly special.
This review pertains to the 7" fry pan.I concur with all that has been written. The pan is just beautiful to behold. I'll never forget the sense of awe I felt when opening the box. The pan is encased in Italian newspapers! Also included is a color brochure all about the history of the artisan and his technique. The service was unbelievable. I ordered the pan on a Monday and DHL delivered it on Wednesday! How awesome is that.I have been cooking with copper for only three months and this is my first tin-lined pan (the others are all stainless steel lined). I mention this because my first experience with the pan was not a very good one, certainly not what I was expecting based on these reviews. As it turns out I was using too much heat. I can't believe how quickly and thoroughly this pan heats up. If you're accustomed to working with tin then this is old news to you. But, if like me, you are new to tin be sure to use a low flame. You can always increase the heat if you need to but if you begin with too much heat your food will stick and you won't be able to do anything about it at that point. Even so, clean up is a breeze whatever happens. Just soak in warm soapy water and clean with a sponge. Now that I figured out how to properly enjoy this hand-crafted work of art I just ordered another!

A Work of Art
Gorgeous work of art that sits on my cooktop begging to get used. It’s a heavy pan that feels solid. Base is perfectly flat. The handle can get hot, so plan for that. Keep in mind, the 8.5” pan is omelet size. Delivery took just a couple weeks. Be sure to confirm your order via Amazon Messages. You’ll get a confirmation message from the seller.

Gorgeous!
This pan is stunning! I couldn't be happier with it. Thickness around the rim measures 2mm+ on my calipers. The handle and rivets are very solid and they pan has a nice weight to it. I'll enjoy this cookware for many years to come.I compared similar pans from SOY Türkiye and Mauviel. In the end I chose Bottega del Rame for a few reasons:1. Traditionally tinned (with, drumroll please, TIN)2. History - Mr. Mazzetti has a rich history and a passion for preserving it3. Reputation for quality

Most wonderful pan ever
Wonderful frying pan beautifully handcrafted. I have a gas professional range in my house and I have used every nonstick pan on the market literally. This is my favorite pan of all! It’s so wonderful I just ordered another one in a smaller size. I purchased the largest size to start with. I simply can’t say enough good about this pan. I am more than satisfied and I am looking forward to the arrival of the pan I just ordered.

EXCELLENT PAN !!!
What can I say, this guy is a master at his craft. This is a handmade copper pan. It IS tin lined so be very careful when cooking with it or you will ruin the pan. Medium heat is all you need. NEVER use high heat to use this pan..you will definitely, without question, ruin the pan.

A Work of Art and the Best Pan for Cooking!
The 7-inch tin-lined copper pan is gorgeous, and it cooks beautifully, too. The pan is a perfect size for frying one or two eggs in the morning. It is 5-inches across the bottom. The quality is exceptional, and it cleans up easily with a wash-rag and soap. Tin is inert and does not react with acidic foods; so, it is a safe product. My pan heats up quickly and evenly with the copper exterior. Our hand-tooled pan is a used daily and has become a cherished kitchen treasure. I highly recommend this artisan and intend to order more of his fine art in the future.

Amazing! It's a piece of art and an awesome ...
Amazing! It's a piece of art and an awesome pan. Beautiful AND functional to a high degree. Things I like. It's a little bit higher on the sides, which provides more flexibility in what you can cook in it. This is my first my first foray into copper and now its my go-to pan. It heats evenly and the response time is quick and perfect for me. Beautiful pan all around. I found a recommendation for this pan from an obscure website in the commentsection, which is cool. I also like the fact it was handmade by an artisan who has been making these for years. I received it in a matter of days from Italy....and it was packed in Italian newspapers, which I spent a month or more perusing. I want the next one packed in prosciutto. Bellissimo!
