High Thickness Copper Saucepan

Beautiful saucepan and superb workmanship. I specifically wanted the 3 mm copper so this is a heavy piece but is beautifully balanced. It's the first hammered piece that I've owned and I think I prefer it to the smooth finish just because it's so attractive - especially if you're bringing it to the table for serving. I've used it for soup and a Soubise sauce; it heats quickly and evenly. I have a few Mauviel pieces (which I love) and believe this is comparable in quality. DHL shipping was quick but I did have to sign for the delivery so keep that in mind if no one is home during the day. Highly recommend Bottega del Rame.

An artistic, well-made sauce pan that would complement any kitchen whether the operator be a beginning cook or seasoned chef. Thickness of saucepan makes it possible to heat delicate sauces evenly and with complete control. Although expense was an initial consideration, quickly realized t1hat I will own this product for a lifetime. In fact, I expect my granddaughter to inherit this saucepan for her use long after I am gone. This high thickness, copper saucepan vastly exceeded my expectations and is a completely different dimension over and above any other copper instrument that I have used.

Very well made. Beautiful and durable. The hand craftsmanship makes these a cut above other famous French copperware costing much more, but are essentially machine made. The tinning is also much better and more durable.

A wonderful pan expertly crafted. Stunning to look at, but above all a perfectly functional piece of cookware. Can't wait to buy my next piece!
