It had a knurled grip which made it easy to hold onto it and not slip during exercise if you're sweating. This rowing attachment is excellent, and a must-have for your cable machine. This particular unit is high quality steel, with strong welds, excellent fit & finish. This will easily hold more weight than you can row with no safety concerns at all. The handles are the perfect diameter for using bare or with grips, and the knurling is very comfortable on the hands while providing plenty of grip on heavy pulls. The black finish is surprisingly nice and seems like it will last a long time. The included carabiner is nice bonus and is also good quality, strong steel. For the price, this has to be one of the best options available for this style attachment. No reason to spend a ton of money on such a simple attachment.

A solid piece of equipment and a great deal. I use this and other handles multiple times a week. The design is pretty standard, but I love the rubber grip and the knurling is not bad at all. The swivel loop is solid and rotate smoothly and is easy to use with any cable machine or functional trainer you own. It doesn’t really creek like some do when it swivels so I would say the noise level is pretty good as well. There’s not much to say about how effective it is as it is great for what it’s for, I even use it for close grip, pull downs or rows. I would say that it’s very well built and heavy so if you plan on taking it in your gym bag to use a public gym just account for that weight.
