SorelMen's Madson ll Moc Toe Waterproof Boot

I ordered these Madson II moc toe in "khaki" and returned them the same day. The color does not match the image, in person they appeared much more grey, and did not have the darker color in the toe and back like it's shown in the image. In addition, these cost over $120 more than the previous version of the Madson moc toe, and the only differences I noticed (besides color options) is the sole appears to be slightly thicker, and slightly better tread which would probably help with traction in the winter months.Not enough to justify the price difference.I ended up purchasing another pair of the previous version, and used the remaining $120 to purchase an additional pair of boots from another brand.

I’m like...borderline angry because I loved these boots and wanted them to work so badly. Bizarrely the design is fatally flawed. These are made EXCLUSIVELY for people with a very narrow middle-foot. If your middle foot is not very narrow, the inside will hang off and you will be constantly off balance. It’s so frustrating because the boot would have been perfect for me. They don’t even make it in a wide!!! Shame on Sorel. Finding good boots is such a nightmare.

Love these boots. Like others have said, they are very comfortable out of the box. Not broken in yet, but I can imagine they will just get better with wear. The length and width are perfect for my large flat feet. Looking forward to see how they perform in the snow this winter.

This is my third pair of these boots. They are super comfortable and wear great. I had a black pair for about two years and they’ve still got plenty of life left, but live at a vacation home now. I bought a tan pair and then wanted another black pair for everyday use.They are cushiony and durable. The soles on the newest pair are improved over previous versions from what I can tell. The fit is true to size.Some would scoff at the price, but you will not have tires feet after wearing these all day. I think they’re well worth it. If you don’t want to pay full price just wait for them to go on sale in your size and get whatever color you can!

I've ordered two different sizes in these boots (some boots run big) and while these are true to size, they are very narrow–and I have high arches. With wool socks on they were almost uncomfortably snug. I am going to try to go a half-size up though and see how that feels because I would like to wear them in colder weather. Also, the color of the leather is a little less distressed than the picture indicates. The photo looks more like the leather did on the original Madson (Major Buffalo was the color name, I believe). Very lightweight. I will be returning these.

Great looking boots, and comfortable. I can’t speak to how well they will hold up to extreme conditions because I didn’t buy them for that. They seem well made though, so I would expect they have some endurance.

I am writing this review after a few months of ownership. I use this as my primary work shoe in a office environment that allows for more casual wear. I have received many compliments on this shoe. It is truly waterproof, warm in the cold, and probably the most comfortable boot I have ever owned.I hope they keep making this product because I plan to keep this as my primary shoe for life!!!

Very comfortable boot. Waterproof seems to be working as expected. No issues yet. I needed to but new insoles because these have no arch support

I'd looked around for a while for a pair of boots to wear all day in inclement weather. I found them! They are smart enough to wear in various circumstances and completely weather proof for exploring the city in rain or snow. The soles and fit make them lovely to wear all day

I wore them on and off for 3 weeks and the whole body of the body started to deteriorate and the laces also snapped. The brass eyelets started coming off and it's s shame as they were aesthetically really nice boots. Just a shame

Tight fit for a size 9. Nice boots. Well made, look good, warm and waterproof.

Perfect fit, definitely recommended

As per my normal size fitting. Rather wide fitting but that suits my feet.
