Enemies

This is probably my favourite book by tijan, its one I always go back and reread and irs one I think I pretty much take with me evrytime on holiday lol!Enemies is an emotional rollercoaster about family, friendship, love, surviving trauma and heartache & how resilience the body and mind can be. Tijan puts your heart through the ringer that's for sure. My heart broke for Dusty, like I just wanted to scoop her up and keep her safe but my god she was so strong. I was in awe of her. Her resilience and motivation to keep her head up and keep going no matter what mixed in with that unnerving vulnerability made her one of my all time favorite heroines ever written. I related alot with her. She is one of the best girls in NA that I have read about in a long time. She had been through hell and back and was still experiencing it and I really appreciated how Tijan showed us her refusing to acknowledge what has happened and wanting to pretend because let's be honest we all do that. Its in our human nature to pretend and act like everything is OK because we don't want to experience pain.Now Stone...can we just *sigh*...love LOVE HIM. What a guy. I feel like because we didn't get to hear much from his POV until end he was a bit of mystery building up but did I screech with joy when we got to see what was in his head? You bet! Im so eternally grateful we got to see some chapters in his POV because they were everything & really provided an additional depth to the story. 5 star read!

First I start off by saying I love Tijan, seriously she's one of my favorite authors. I love reading anything see writes and this book was no exception. It encompasses two of my favorites, sports romance and enemies to lovers. Dusty definitely has faced some hardships in her life, you can't help but feel sorry for her. It was humorous how she ended up at college in a place where Stone was a football king, consider how he's her "enemy". I was looking forward to uncovering the history between her and Stone because I absolutely needed to know why she was so adamant about disliking him. Of course, I was completely swooning because of Stone the entirety of the book. The ways he cares for Dusty gave me hearts in my eyes. There was so much angst here and I was dying for Dusty and Stone to finally get together. If there's anything I didn't like about this book it was definitely her roommates, they were so rude. Anyway, this is a must-read so don't hesitate to read this, it's amazing! The epilogue is also super cute.

The book before this left me in a book coma so i knew it had to be one hell of a book to get me out of it so i knew this was the book for that. I love all of Tijan's books but this one has to be one of my top two favorites of hers. This had the heartbreak, the enemies to lovers story that started when they were kids but things turned sour with these childhood friends and they turned to enemies. Cannot wait to read what Tijan writes next. Loved this book so much, feel like rereading it all over again need this on paperback asap

Dusty has had hard life. She is moving down to Austin area to escape and start fresh. But she cannot and now her childhood friend Stone is coming back in life. Now they are working repairing their relationship! A must read!!!

I’ve read most of Tijans books on iPad but I now want them on paper, it’s great to be able to get ones I couldn’t previously. This was a great read start to finish. Honestly Tijan is one of the few writers that delivers page turners every single time!
