BicycleArchangels Playing Cards

I didn't imagine I'd feel compelled to publicly review a deck of cards, but Bicycle and Theory11 did such a nice job with these that I felt they deserved the praise.At their foundation, yes, they're just cards. But they're very good looking cards. The cardback design (produced by a website with which I was heretofore unfamiliar) is very cool, as is the Ace of Spades. The cards are usual Bicycle quality, and the gold colors on the face cards have kind of a bronze look to them that make them look more sophisticated.I'm certain that to a true card playing enthusiast, I've missed many positive qualities of these cards, but these were my naive impressions. A bit pricey for a deck of cards, but for what you're getting, I'm ok with it. This is a great stocking-stuffer kind of thing, or good for people who just enjoy nice things and card playing.

I have to confess, I am an addict. I own over 100 decks of playing cards, and about half of those are Bicycle. Bicycle is by far my favorite playing card company. Every deck is well made, durable and feels nicer to play with than any other brands I've used (which is almost every other brand on the market). This Archangels deck is one of my very favorites that I own, along with the Dragonback and Guardians. They feel very smooth with their air cushion finish, and they look simply stunning. I highly recommend these cards to anyone who wants a quality deck of cards at a reasonable price. I've had them for about 2 years now, used them in countless poker and gin rummy games, and they still feel like they did when I first opened the pack. If you're a card collector like me, you need this deck in your collection. If you just want a good deck to play with, then this is the perfect deck. Go buy them now!

Okay, so I'm a cardist, and have a BUTT LOAD of decks.... Plenty of expensive decks that I will most likely never open, and many cheaper decks (a.k.a. the star deck, which by the way is a fantastic deck of cards and at one point was $1.84 a deck on Amazon... I bought 30)Anywho, the ArchAngels deck is a lower price point deck that SCREAMS high price point... Go get your ghost decks, go get your scorpion decks... You will be paying $20 for these decks. I own all of these, but will not use em.I think this deck is as luxurious as any deck I have in my collection and it is $6.00I'm not gonna comment too much on the card stock...It comes from the USPCC... great feel... cool court cards.The box is as good as $40 decks I have.

Fantastic deck of cards - I have purchased several decks of cards now, and this so far is my absolute favorite deck, hands down. I love the card back design, but even more stunning is the front face of the cards. Vivid reds, golds and blacks, sharply and perfectly printed, everyone I show this deck to, falls in love with it. What's better? Only paying 5 bucks for such a good quality deck. When this deck gets too greasy and needs to be replaced, I will certainly come back and buy another deck of Arch Angel. This is probably your best looking deck of cards for the money out there, period.

The cards are beautiful and great quality. I do admit I thought there would be more artwork on them though. The backs of the cards are beautiful. The ace of spades is the only one that is different from a regular deck though. I rate them 5 stars because the cards are of course typical bicycle quality, but put only four stars as wishing they had more artwork.

Make sure to keep it away from water and rain my other bicycle cards were destroyed bc of the rain.This deck has a nice design and the cards feel high quality, perfect for my magic tricks and card games with friends.

Fabulous quality and design by Theory11. These were my first deck of quality playing cards and they met every expectation. The Ace of spades is beautiful the jokers are really cool and the back design has a lot of detail. Handling the cards comes with ease and pulchritude, allowing for easy flourishing and sleights.
