I'm not sure why there's so many reviews saying this is difficult to assemble and install, it really isn't. The trick is to open the wire clips all the way (see picture), they open wide and when they close, they click into place and the wires don't move. There's only 7 slots, so two of the wires will need to be twisted together and put into one slot. It went very quickly and was installed in under 20 minutes, and it puts out SO MUCH light with the Edison bulbs we got (not included)

We had a hard time keeping the wires in, not enough room in the base. After taping the wire we got it to stay. Look beautiful & expensive. I suggest you have someone with a lot of experience install it. My friend that installed is an expert and struggled. Took us 1.5 hr to install.

At first I thought I had payed way to much because it felt super cheap. BUT it was pretty easy to install even though the directions are not very thorough.I had a moment of panic when taking off one of the nuts and one of the white wires came off the socket. Fortunately I was able to take the socket apart and insert it back into place.It opened up my small living room space and made it more modern looking. (I’m getting LED vintage light bulbs to fit the esthetic)I still think it was a bit over priced but after putting it together it felt sturdier and it sure does look better than the my apartment’s outdated crusty, dusty hanging light fixture.

2 hours to put together and didn't work. I had to go to Lowes and get another light and hubby installed it in 20 minutes. I loved this light so I was so disappointed and so was my hubby. The one from Lowes is not as nice but at least it works.

Once installed, the light looks great. Be aware that if you do not know about electricity, you will need an electrician or someone who knows how to install/replace ceiling fixtures. Prior to installation the fixture has to be put together, then white and black wires from each individual light have to be inserted in a central connector. It's a little tedious but well worth the effort.

This light is such a fun addition to our guest bedroom. You can change up the look by what shape bulbs you decide to use. We used Edison style, round bulbs in soft white. Love it!

I ordered this light while we were renovating and just had it installed and it doesn’t work! Looks beautiful, but doesn’t work! Electrician can’t figure out why😩 and too late for return 🤦🏾‍♀️
