I have great difficulty in detaching the hose from the machine, it is very tight

Tight fit
Replacement for the original which became kinked. Unfortunately the lugs grip too tightly and it is is very difficult to uncouple from the vacuum cleaner with a risk of damaging the machine through use of excessive force.

Naff Hoover Pipe........
This is not really good to fit to a Cat & Dog Hoover,i had not realized that it was not Miele (note to one self,read all info before purchase) this is very stiff and you can not remove from the hoover without 2 of you,i would say that you run the risk of damaging the hoover,will not be using it anyway,as it is my fault for not reading all the info i will put it down to learning by mistake,i would however warn others to be very careful before fitting it to a Miele hoover as it will damage the hoover and cost you much more money.
