Got a 2-pack of SFP+ to fiber adapters so I could run a direct line up to a switch in my office from the basement where all the networking gear is. First of all, they did NOT have to go this hard on the packaging. The adapters come in a tin with custom artwork of an anime dude in a lab coat wielding a giant version of the connector that looks awesome. The printing is well made and the info on the package is clear. I actually wanna keep this tin for something now!The devices themselves work as advertised. They seem reliable, well made, and easy to use. No complaints about speed or fit. They just work. No compatibility issues connecting between a UniFi cloud gateway and an off-brand switch. All around worth it. 10Gtek is really making a name for themselves in this space with effort like this and I truly appreciate it.

When the 10Gtek arrived in the usual new "green" shipping package, I felt the "box" it wasn't the usual and I had to get this thing open and see what it is. The container it comes in is genius. It took the great deal I got and hope that it works to "Holy Crap this is So Cool!" and no doubts about it's operation. Upon opening the little metal box by sliding the top, there was the dongle. I had a bit of a problem taking it out of the plastic holder. But once out if it weren't for the way the device was presented I wouldn't have been as impressed. There's nothing initially special about any of these things, so it's not the only one that's "non-descript". Although it's a great value it doesn't seem cheap. I started to look for any specific instructions that if there were any special directions that needed to be considered. I took out the plastic holder insert the dongle came in and no little folded piece of paper with type so small you need a microscope to read it. But then noticed the instructions were painted on the under side of the lid which are simple, very readable and easy to understand.It fits like a glove when I plugged it in and is completely compatible with my UniFi UDM Pro and works without needing anything special. Pop it in and that's it. The system is showing it as if it were OEM. Make sure you use a minimum of a Cat6a cable, it does matter. The Heat Level, I haven't noticed anything more than warm. Speed wise, right now I only have a 1Gbps connection but I'm getting over the spec'd 940 Download/940 Upload speeds. This coming Saturday I'm having 10Gbps installed and I trust that I'll get darn near their spec'd maximum speeds. Can't wait.

Works as advertised. No issues, plug and play on the Unifi USW AGGREGATION 10G switch. The other end is a UGREEN 6 port ethernet switch. It also works fine on a UNRAID server with a 10Gtek PCI-E BIC Network Card. No complaints and speed tests are meeting expectations.

These arrived promptly and I like the packaging the manufacturer uses (reminiscent of an Altoids tin).For my setup, I needed to connect an HP PC with an Intel X710 fiber card to a Dell S4080 fiber switch about 8,000 feet away.I popped these in and they worked immediately. I'm copying files at a steady 1.2 GB/s.Intel cards are notoriously picky about connectors so that was my biggest concern. But no problems. I will definitely be ordering this brand again.

after a day of usage one piece failed and would only sync up when set at 1gig speeds in the switch. I am still giving 4 stars as it is only carrying Dante from a Bluetooth TX to the DSP and even with the 1gig limitation, you can't go wrong for the price.

Working well with our Ruckus switches over about 300M SM fiber run.

Works great for my Unifi Setup with my Cloud Gateway Fiber for full 10 gig network connectivity!This made sense and I am not regretting buying two of these Transceivers at all.It's a good price to performance ratio and it does as advertised properly.The only gripe I have with the SFP+ Modules is they get REAL HOT (99 Celsius) Make sure you have decent cooling where you are installing the modules as it'll save them from burning up and frying.I love the speeds and reliability they give and I highly recommend this to anyone who wants 10 gig connectivity over RJ45 Ethernet Cables!

bought 2 pcs for my zyxel xs1930 sfp+ uplink and working well. will monitor how well the quality is. ordering more for other sfp+ interfaces
