Nebo Big Larry black 400 Lumens C-O-B LED Work Light Flashlight (3 AA Batteries Included),

I had this light for several years. Unfortunately [my fault] the first battery in the tube [the one behind the LED] leaked acid and screwed up the circuit board [just under the on-off switch]. Tried to restore it before I realized the circuit board was damaged. Ordered a new identical Big Larry Black but ended up getting a silver unit. Don’t really care, still the same great light. Just make sure you refresh the batteries even before they go dead, because if that upper most batter decides to leak it will likely ruin the flashlight.

This is exactly what I was looking for when working on our cars in the garage. The form factor is perfect for holding in your hand and aiming it at the area you want to see. It's small enough to fit into tight spaces that shop lights just can't do.The quality seems very good. It feels hefty but not too heavy. The magnet is strong will even hold the light horizontally.It is very bright on the high setting (don't look directly at it)! The lower setting is adequate. Wish there was something in-between, but for the price, it's really a great light!

I received a flashlight like this as a gift a year ago and it looked handy. I've since wondered why there's any other kind. I have used it camping, the magnet sticks great to the back of my truck and lights up a huge area. It's small enough to use in tight spaces like behind a desk for hooking up computer equipment and having the light to the side instead of the end makes it easier to use. I like mine so well I bought several for gifts.

Made well, very bright with very wide dispersion. The two brightness settings come in handy.I can't judge battery life yet, I haven't had it long enough.My only issue is that the button to turn it on and off is awkward because it's on top, and the light fixture itself is long and placed at the top of the light . This makes you have to side grip the flashlight around the sides of the lamp fixture while you use your free index finger to turn it on and off. I would prefer that the button was behind the lamp so that I could grip the lower part of the flashlight and hit the switch with my thumb.Overall though, it's a really great light.

These are fantastic lights. I intended to use these in my trailer and for camping, but these are not ideal. The wide span of the light is great, including the red flashing option, but it's simply too wide to use as a standard flashlight. Within a campground, you cannot prevent from blinding people unintentionally. That being said, as a work flash light, this is a wonderful product. The wide flood of light ensure you have ample lighting on whatever you're doing. The magnetic bottoms is incredibly convenient to keep the flashlight in place and keep your handsfree. That being said, the light is so wide, leaving on the ground while under a vehicle still seemed to work just fine. I would recommend, but not for all purposes.

I wish NEBO still made these, they're the best flashlight on the market.

It gets dark on rural Texas highways miles and miles outside of a town. The other night I came up on a broken down car just barely out of the right lane on a very dark road. They didn't have hazard lights flashing or any other light that would let drivers like me know they were there. I turned around and pulled about 20' behind their car (didn't get out of my car or turn off my engine) but turned on my flashers and turned the red flasher of the Big Larry on and stuck it on my roof with the magnetic mount. I then called the 800 roadside assistance number for Texas DPS. The sheriff's department sent out a deputy. His first comment to me when I told him I was the one who called it in was how effective the red flashing light was and how that was what he first saw from far away as he was driving along looking out for where we were. He wanted to take a closer look at the light and made a note that it was a Nebo "Big Larry" because he wanted one.I liked the first one I bought so much that I got back on Amazon and bought five more to put in the glove box of every one in my family's cars. Having a good light is important if broken down on the side of the road and this one is the best. Excellent build quality and they are B R I G H T not only the 400 lumen white light but the flashing red beacon. I consider it an essential item in the car but I'm sure there are a myriad of other places this would be the perfect light.

This flashlight is so bright, its great! It will light up a room and the magnet is so very strong. love it..

This is a very good flashlight. It has two levels of brightness plus a flashing red light. Battery duration is reported to be quite lengthy which I like. Also I like the very strong magnet on its base.

This is amazing ,,, I don't have much light in my bathroom and voila I push the button and I can see in the shower when it is dark out .. Great for looking for items in dark places... Love the fact that you can stick on metal and be hands free

i've been using this light at work for the past few months and it seems to be holding up pretty well. I am a mechanic so if a light makes it a year I'm impressed. So far I only had to take it apart once to fix it. One of the wires going from the switch to the circuit board got caught between the circuit board and the housing of the light and it wouldn't turn off. Mind you I have dropped this thing countless times from 4-8 feet and this is the first real problem I have had with it. The only other slight problem is the top started to turn on me and caused the lens to pop off but a little silicone fixed that. I guess the biggest problem I have with this light is it has 3 modes so you can't turn it on and off without hitting the button a bunch of times. Sadly it seems the majority of the flashlight industry is going this way because it's no longer about making a good simple to use light that will last the test of time, it's all about bells and whistles.
