We were losing so much sleep and so annoyed with the pee
I ordered this bark collar for my shih tzu who will bark all night in his cage and pee everywhere if I left him out. We were losing so much sleep and so annoyed with the pee. I ordered this collar to see how he would do. It worked really well the first night, he immediately hated the shock and stopped barking. The battery needed to be moved in the morning because it stopped working the next day. I shifted the battery and it worked right away. It stopped working a few mornings, so Dan, the owner, immediately sent me a new collar. My dog does not bark anymore and we get a lot of sleep! The bark collar really saved me!!!! I have to say, the customer service is pretty fantastic! I received an email from Dan before I even received the collar. I corresponded with him for a week and a half on a daily basis. He wanted to make sure the collar worked and gave me tips on how to solve the issues I was having. I have never had the owner of a company email me, let alone continue to check in with me on a daily basis. It definitely made me feel better knowing I was trying out a product and had options if it didn't work out or malfunctioned. He sent the replacement free of charge and didn't even want the old one back. Amazing!!!!! Highly recommend this collar if you have a dog like mine. Nothing else worked for me and I'm grateful for it and the price is great as well!!

It beeped and shocked when they were NOT barking and when they were barking it didn't work.
I never leave bad reviews but here I am. I read all the reviews good and bad and I was extremely suprised with the amount of happy customers. So i bought 2 of the collars for my 2 dogs so I'm not basing my review on 1 but based on 2 of them. I have 2 hounds that has the deepest barks and howls so there is no reason for these devices to not work as they were intended to.I am very tech savy and understand how this device should work. I work with training collars as my 2 dogs are very well trained but I can't beat the barking monster1. The buttons that adjust the sensitivity are raised too high and with simple movements of the dog you can actually hear the beeping as the sensitive is being adjusted.2. You have to turn the sensitivity all the way up in order for it to kinda work. With the sensitivity set between 1-5 it did absolutely nothing. With the sensitivity set all the way up 6-7, when my dogs starts barking it gives off a long beep then stops. According to the description it should beep twice then deliver a shock. Never once in the 4 days that I used them did it do what it was supposed to do. It did beep and shocked my dogs when they were playing and wasn't barking. It beeped and shocked my dogs when they would shake their heads or sneeze on both devices.Very disappointed and in the process of returning both

Great Product
I have a 3 year old bichon that weighs 8lbs and barks incessantly at everything - including leaves blowing by! With her being so small I was reluctant at purchasing a bark collar afraid that it might "hurt" her. But after years of purchasing training manuals and accessories (including a muzzle which broke my heart to see her in - she was so miserable) that guaranteed to stop the barking to no avail, my family decided we had to do something. Her barking was interfering with our ability to even have a conversation. So I purchased The Digity Dogs No Bark Collar. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. In no time she was brandishing her new collar. It wasn't bulky nor did it interfere with any of her activities. It didn't take long after we put the collar on she started barking. When she heard the first beep she stopped barking - looked around - then continued to bark, after the second beep she did the same. Once she received the deterrent (mild shock) she again looked around but sat down and didn't bark. This happened 2 or 3 times. Unless we are taking her out we no longer t keep the collar on her, but keep it nearby. If we see her or hear her getting worked up- ready to bark - all we have to do is blow into the collar and it beeps. Just the beep now makes her relax and sit down! She does her normal activities like before but no barking. It's amazing. Our home is much quieter now. We are happy and so is she - no more having to out yell her barking and scolding her. Best purchase we've made. If only I'd purchased this collar to begin with we could've saved ourselves a lot of money and aggravation. Do yourself and your pet the favor. They will be happy because you are!!

Its ok for the price
Bought these for our 2 miniature dachshunds. One is a long hair male around 14lb, the other is a short hair female about 11-12LB. The male I use the long studs and it seems to work ok on him. Sometimes he can bark several times before it will start to beep (bark more then it should take to set it off). But he has learned what the beep means so he will usly stop barking at this point and I dont have much of an issue with his barking. Seems to work ok for him. I use the short studs for our short hair. The collar will start to beep at her from just running around. I've tried to tighten it up but if I tighten it much more it will be way to tight for her to have on. I know a bit about these types of collars so I do not believe it is anything I'm doing wrong. She knows what the beep means so she calms down fairly quick when it starts to happen. This is good for her because she is the one that wants to bark and everything, for no reason. I think she's just a lil drama queen that barks just to get everyone's attention.I do not leave these collars on my pets. I might use them once every other week during times they want to bark and everything they see. I have also tested the shock on myself (on my arm) an its enough to get your attention but not enough to hurt a dog. I would not use on a pet smaller then 10LB.If you use these collars I would start off doing it in a controlled environment that you can keep an eye (and ear) on your pets to see how well they work and how often they go off. If the collar is beeping at them and going off just for the running around and moving they will not learn to stop barking when they hear the beep.
