A pump is a teaspoon - maybe exactly
I just got this today. I am using it as a honey dispenser. I noticed that the distance the pump went up seemed a little high (not sure what I was expecting) so I was afraid each pump would put out more than I wanted. It turns out, it puts out possibly exactly a teaspoon. Well, that's exactly the amount I want pumped each time when I add honey to my oatmeal. My problem with honey is that when I pour from the top, I am left with a more sugary mixture in the bottom. This should fix that. Glad to pay $10 for this convenience.I had to rate Sturdiness, Easy to clean, Easy to use - even though I've only used it once. It's made of plastic, so it won't last forever. But I'm pretty happy so far.

Great for drink syrups
I added these to a regular mouth canning jar. Love the convenience of having the syrup right near the drink station. Easy and mess free too. It never drips. I trimmed the tube inside to fit the length of my jar.

Works great for honey.
If your honey is thicker it’s a little hard to push it down but it still works great for it.

Doesn't really work for honey
I bought this specifically for honey since it said it was, among other things, a honey dispenser. Looked good and fit the mason jar perfectly, but honey is way too thick for it. You have to push REALLY REALLY hard and then wait in between pumps for the pump to restore itself to the top. I had high hopes, but I can barely push it down to get the honey out and I'm bummed that I can't return it because I had to cut it down, per the instructions, to get it to fit the mason jar. It will probably be good for you if you need it for something thinner than honey.
