I stopped buying Golf Bond Diabetic Relief Lotion because of that same inconvenience. I had to cut the container to access the lotion, which is so thick it should be in a jar. I complained many times, until I got frustrated, and moved on without regrets. I used ammonia lactate - more expensive, but serves my purpose.

I really don't know what other diabetics skin problems are but mine gets very dry. This lotion really helps. I also get a yeast infection on my skin. Nothing helps that.

Yes, it works!  Works really well for itchy skin in the wintertime.  I was having issues with this when using the heater.  Gold Bond is great for eczema and all kinds of dry, itchy skin.  I highly recommend.
