I suggest Frog Tape in yellow as it has a more gentle ashesive. Regardless of what you choose, free the edge of your tape and pinch between your pointer finger and thumb to hold, rest your middle finger on the tape with your pointer resting atop it. Pull slowly with this angle and tearing won't be a problem. Usually when removeable tapes tear paper it's because of being pulled at the incorrect angle. That's assuming the use of quality paper, which printer paper is not. Canson definitely is. Also, because this is a block the only reason one would need to use tape is to mask out a frame for margins. The bonus of Frog Tape in this scenario is that it creates the cleanest line of any tape I've ever used. It also comes in a case to protect the edges in order to keep the lines straight throughout the life of the roll. **Q: How many pages does each one come with?** A: I have a 6x9" block and it has 15 sheets. I don't know how many sheets the larger blocks have.
