outside material is smooth and seems easy to clean, long carry hook is smooth material, the bag color is not really an olive green, it is more towards a dark grey/black tone. strange interesting outside color and nice material. Inside material is black, which is a challenge and big mistake!!! , you can not find your items easy inside. It has various inside / outside pockets, but some are not well secured with secure zippers, very sad about it. Great to have the water bottle side pocket, but the underneath should be material and not mash, to risky that it will break over time. I really don't understand why the outside zippers - front and back - are not secured with the same zipperer/ hook system. very sad and not secure, considering their theme of security. the front pocket is even to small to hold a tradition iphone 8, so not ideal either. The shape and design seem more for men, but women can use it too. images on amazon shoes women in the advertising, but on bag label its a man, it suits them more! . Plus I would hope the zippers would be set towards the other side/ direction. because if you wear your bag on the right site of your body, all zippers will show and end up - to the bag behind, despite the zipper hook system - I still don't feel safe with that set up. very sad ! so - one needs to carry the bag to left body site/ in order to have zipper closed and end up to the front. - I wish suppliers read this reviews - to listen and learn and alter designs accordingly. The black lining is a big mistake, you can not find anything despite the mini torch inside. Plus the RFID / money pocket should be inside the main bag compartment and not in front. Also for the iPad pocket, I wish the upper unit is finishing off with mash and then also closing off with an zipper inside. the little pocket in the main compartment with zipper is a mash material - why ?. very unpractical, things get stuck and then the mash can break quickly. plus it makes it less secure to have mash there. It would be a perfect city or travel bag, if - all those points are corrected, then I would buy it. hence return !. Plus the price is a little high too. The material in general is a bit to thick and bulky too.

I bought this bag for a European vacation, as we were warned about pick pockets in crowded areas. It was perfect! I’ll never know if I was targeted by a thief, but I can say that all my belongings stayed safe. The slash proof strap worked nicely to wear the bag cross body, keeping the bag more in front of me. The clip mechanism on the strap was great for securing to chairs/tables in public areas, like cafes. The latching zippers kept things extra secure. And the expandable bottle holder was so handy! In addition to all the security features, the bag has a nice design/layout, making it easy to keep your things organized. And I was surprised how much the bag can hold. It doesn’t seem so big, but I easily carried my personal items, phone, glasses, etc.; and the listening devices for our tours, two bottles of water (one in the holder and a backup stashed inside), and even rain ponchos. And for air travel, it slid nicely into my smallish backpack (20L), to accommodate the airline’s limit of one carry on and one personal item. I look forward to using this bag again and definitely recommend it!

First off, this is the 2nd Travelon bag I've owned. The first one was used daily for over 10 years. Considering I don't drive and stuffed it full of items, I was surprised that bag lasted as long as it did! I bought this bag a few months ago and I'm now using this bag every day too! So far, so good. This bag *is* smaller than my previous bag, so it doesn't hold as much--which is both good and bad for me. It means that I have to really pack this one carefully each time I take my wallet or sunglasses out, for example. That's the "bad" news. The good news is that for someone with any sort of bone loss or mobility issues as I do, this bag is a much better size and shape. To look at this cheerful teal bag, you wouldn't know it was an RFID bag! The colour makes me feel more cheerful, and the bag is so practical. I highly recommend this bag!
