It works. it handles 4k 60Hz video without any reduction in picture or sound quality. Automatically switches between devices when one is turned off and another turned on. Has a remote control so you can easily switch from one device to another when multiple devices are turned on. Works great. I have two PCs connected to it; it does not seem to cause any lag in fast paced games with the tv in game mode. Still instant response from controller or keyboard inputs. I power mine off a USB 2.0 port on the back of my desktop PC. Its plug and play. Really no set up other than connecting to a power source and your devices.

Best HDMI switch I've come across thus far. What puts this switch over others I've tried is the auto switching feature. It's a great feature that makes the use of the included remote a rarity. You can have the main source used on the TV on, and when you turn on the other device you want to switch to, this switch will automatically switch to the device that was just turned on. Once you're done with that device and turn it off, it'll switch back to the other device if it's still on.

This HDMI switch does everything it is suppose to do with one little glitch: if it's not cycled off/on after use, it will lose audio. Occasionally, if after turning the TV off but not the HDMI switch, when I turn the TV back on, the video will play fine but with no sound. This does not happen every time so it's, as I say, kind of glitchy.

I purchased this switch as part of a media setup. It worked flawlessly at first and the automatic switching to a new input was super convenient. After about a year I started getting issues where the output image would freeze. When this happened I would also not be able to change input on the HDMI switch either by hitting the input button or using the included remote. The only way to fix it was to power cycle the switch. It kept happening more and more frequently and now the HDMI switch is completely useless. I would not recommend buying this.

UPDATE 12/15/2025: Unit stopped working. I would advise ordering a different model than this one. I realize it is not as expensive as others on Amazon, but would steer clear of this particular brand. Seller was responsive, but said it only came with a 1-year warranty. Works as advertised. Easy set up and just what I needed to add additional components to my entertainment system.

I had to add a couple more devices and this did the trick. It works with my new Atari 2600+, Nintendo Switch, and AT Games Legend system all in one HDMI on the TV. It switches automatically if you turn one off and the next on. If everything is running at once you can switch with the remote or the button on the unit. The remote is IR so line of sight is needed!

I thought. Could use this to increase my total inputs to my stem mini camera switcher. But unfortunately if you use this to connect DSLR cameras, the hdmi inputs that are not actively being displayed are completely disconnected. This causes my Nikon D750’s to exit live view. Then when I activate the input I see the info menu and not the video feed from the camera. Unfortunate. But I imagine this product would work fine for home entertainment setups.
