far-fetched contraptions, gadgets, houses and farms, televisions, and various modes of transportation could only come from the madcap mind of Avery and his M-G-M crew. Uncut, restored and remastered for the first time, Tex Avery Screwball Classics Collection Volume 2 is another must-own collection from the master of hand-drawn mayhem. – JERRY BECK, Animation Historian Review: THE KING OF CARTOONS - Volume 2 of the Tex Avery MGM shorts on blu ray are sharp and clean and still funny no matter how many times you watch them. I have heard reports that some remain censored due to insensitive racial issues of the 40's and 50's, but I looked at the cut cartoons on the DVD format first and can confirm that the blu ray has restored certain previous cuts with a warning at the start of the disc. Volume 2 has no Screwy Squirrel or George and Junior, but Droopy is still there in one of my favourites, DRAGALONG DROOPY. Tex at his best. Another top cartoon is THE CUCKOO CLOCK, with its wonderful Edgar Allen Poe beginning. The nameless cat who stars here, is in three other cartoons:- COUNTERFEIT CAT, VENTRILOQUIST CAT, and the nicely surreal THE CAT THAT HATED PEOPLE. Spot gags feature in the four "Cartoons of Tomorrow" that focus on a house, cars, TVs, and a farm (the weakest one). The bonus is a Tex Avery documentary, which is vital if you are not too familiar with all of this great animator's work. There are still 25 cartoons left for a third blu ray release, and it would be fantastic if they included them all, without leaving out the ones missing on previous sets, like UNCLE TOM'S CABANA, and HALF-PINT PIGMY. Review: Un-cut version - I remember these as a kid. This collection is a must have for all Tex Avery fans. Clean remastered frames in superb Blu-ray quality. Un-cut gags. Hope there will be more volume's coming.

THE KING OF CARTOONS

Simplemente excelente.

Little Rural Riding Hood (Sept. 1949) 2. The Cuckoo Clock (Juni 1950) 3. Magical Maestro (Feb. 1952) 4. One Cab`s Family (Mai 1952) 5. The Cat that Hated People (Nov. 1948) 6. Doggone Tired (Juli 1949) 7. The Flea Circus (Nov. 1954) 8. Field and Sream (April 1955) 9. The First Bad Man (Sept. 1955) 10. Out-Foxed (Nov. 1949) 11. Droopy`s Double Trouble (Nov. 1951) 12. The Three Little Pups (Dez. 1953) 13. Drag-along Droopy (Feb. 1954) 14. Homesteader Droopy (Juli 1954) 15. Dixieland Droopy (Dez. 1954) 16. The Counterfeit Cat (Dez. 1949) 17. Ventriloquist Cat (mai 1950) 18. The House of Tomorrow (Juni 1949) 19. The Car of Tomorrow (Sept. 1951) 20. T.V. of Tomorrow (Juni 1953) 21. The Farm of Tomorrow (Sept.

More Screwball Classics From The King of Cartoons Tex Avery
I have been anticipating the release of Tex Avery’s Screwball Classic Vol. 2 ever since the release of the first volume in the hope of more to follow and so far I have not been disappointed as these classic cartoons are so hilarious they deserve to be in anyone’s collection who is serious about collecting classic cartoons or who is a fan of the king of cartoons Tex Avery. As he stood out among his fellow animators of his day mostly dealing with adult audiences with one goal in mind that he would do anything in his cartoons for a gag. I am hopeful that Warner Archive will eventually release the complete library of Tex Avery’s Screwball Classics on Blu-Ray in the near future.

Excelente disco blu-ray.
