No dust, no asthma
This has been my preferred cat litter ever since I tried it a few years ago. The biggest concern for me with cat litter is dust - my cat has asthma, and even though I'm not sensitive to dust myself, when I can see, feel, and smell a layer of cat litter dust on everything in my bathroom only a day or two after changing the box, I'm not happy about it either. This cat litter truly is dust-free after changing the box (and stays that way!), and it never triggers my cat's asthma like other litters have in the past. Like all small particle litters, it does track, but I like that the particles are small and light enough that they're easily picked up by a litter mat or vacuum and don't hurt my feet if I step on them like other litters I've tried. My cat seems to like digging in it more than other litters for the same reason.Absorption and odor control work great for me with this litter, but because it's a non-clumping litter you will need to scoop often and change the litter every few weeks to keep it fresh like it says (or more often if you have multiple cats using the same box). The crystals will lose their ability to absorb cat urine if you wait too long to change it, so you really can't put it off. This does make it more work to deal with and more expensive in the long run, but because everything else about this litter is perfect for both me and my cat, it's worth it!

Great litter! Name Change?
First off, for crystal liters you MUST stir the crystals 1-2 times a day for the urine to be distributed and absorbed properly. Cats tend to pee in the same spot and if your not stirring, it will eventually pool as the crystal get saturated. I guess the name has changed and it is now Stess Relief? I have used MANY crystal brands and this does have much lower dust but still some. You also need to put down a 3-4 feet tracking mat and then you won’t have crystals everywhere. I have a Persian with the hairiest feet so I know. He has learned to pee/poop and then just exit the box if I’m near by, so I just scoop the poop and and stir in the urine and we are good! He still likes to dig and bury if I’m not there to help! :) The trick is to maintain it daily. If you have multiple cats, you may need multiple boxes as crystal litter is not a pour and leave it type litter.

The best litter
I have used this brand for several years and specifically the respiratory relief version. It really just dehydrates the stool so thoroughly that there is little to no smell, unless you allow too much to accumulate. I am allergic to many fragrances and this doesn’t have fragrance. It is low dust. It is not dust free, but it’s the best I have used. It is like sand so I have a mat outside the littler box to help control spread. It does not clump urine. Stiring the product around disperses the moisture and handles the odor.

The ONLY Litter Good Enough for my 14yo Picky Princess
My two seniors were coughing, and I wondered if it might be caused by dust from the dusty clumping litter they'd been using all their lives. So I thought I'd give this a try - after all, "respiratory relief" sounded like just what they needed. As soon as I got it, I noticed that the crystals were very fine, like sand. Much nicer on kitty paws than the gritty sand of the clumping-kind.Well, my cats agreed. Especially the younger one. The ONLY thing about this litter I wasn't loving was the price because my cats demanded the smelly urine crystals to be removed, so I had to buy a lot more often than I had the clumping litter. In desperation, I thought I'd try a slightly cheaper crystal litter, but the crystals were too big and hard on their paws. My younger cat was upset, and started peeing on the bed in retaliation. So then I thought I'd try the respiratory relief version of clumping litter, which was much softer on the paws. But this time my cat was so upset she began peeing on my bed with me sleeping in it! Every single day I'd wake up to a wet spot of pee right next to me.So, I fled back to this litter, and guess what? Not a single bed-wetting episode since! She showed ME! She will now not accept any other brand or type of litter, period. I just have to keep it scooped and she is a happy camper.

Terrible
The only good thing I can say about this litter is that it is in fact cat little. It does not clump and it is very dusty despite being labeled otherwise. Disappointed. ☹️

Doesn't clump
This is a review for what was formerly the Respiratory Relief litter, now known as Stress Relief. This is not a clumping litter, so if you're looking for that feature, this litter doesn't do that. My cats like using this litter, but it does track out of the litter box quite a bit. I have to vacuum every day, sometimes twice a day to deal with the tracking. If I don't vacuum, it crunches under your shoes. I don't know if the other people reviewing here are talking about the same litter when they say it's dusty, because I haven't noticed dust with it. Fortunately, I haven't noticed it sticking to my cat's feet either as some people have mentioned. Perhaps if your cat steps in their urine this litter will stick to their feet. I'm on the fence if I'll purchase this litter again. I have a cat with chronic rhinitis and I was trying to find something that isn't dusty for her, but the fact that it doesn't clump and that it tracks more than other litters are negatives in my opinion.

Cat loves it!
My cat is 15. This litter is easy on her paws with the added benefit of attracting her to the box. It’s easy to scoop and will be replaced in 4-6 weeks. Well worth the cost.

Poor odor control
This litter does very poorly for odor control, and does not support respiratory relief.

Great for my super sensitive cat
I have a cat that has super-sensitive skin, and breaks out with many different types of litter. This isn't completely dust free. I also noticed that the urine tends to go through it and absorb around the bottom of the litter tray - so if you use this, I recommend a puppy-pad or litter tray liner as it can cause an unpleasant stickiness on the bottom of the tray, which the liner completely gets rid of. However my more fussy cat preferred this over the corn and cellulose clumping litters. It IS expensive, but so is a trip to the vets if my cat's skin allergy flares up. (And it does not, with this particular litter)
