could be a decent knife, but very poor QC
This knife is an OK knife. I think this is one of those times where you say, you get what you pay for. The blade on it is decent. It does come sharp enough to shave the hairs off of your arm. But not sharp enough to shave your face. If that helps. I say this, because that is how some people judge a knife. Simply put, if the metal is too cheap, you will never get anywhere near an edge that sharp. So that does prove that the metal in the blade is of decent quality. When they sharpened the blade, the overshot where they were supposed to stop, by 1/8" on both sides. While this does not hurt anything, it just starts the whole, poor QC (quality control) thing. They also did this on the display photo that they put up, so it is not just the one I got.As for opening and closing the knife. It closes very stiffly. The reason why, is because the knife relies on a spring bar friction type of design to control the blade, keeping it open or closed. There is no safety lock like you see on most pocket knives. This design does hold the knife open very well, but another problem with this design is it is much harder to open and close the knife. Forget one handed operations doing so. Also, I checked this before and after I tightened it down. I sill get to that in a minute. The carabiner clip is just a single piece of metal, bent around, almost like in the shape of a paper clip. The ends are cut off, right at the curve, and the tenseness of the metal, and with the ends just slid into the body of the knife in two different spots, is what gives it the spring like effect. This is not a bad thing, it is just the type of design. You can see what I mean by looking at the pictures. The whole knife is just 3 layers thick, with the 2 outside layers being one piece each, and the center layer being two pieces, the blade and the backbone, which also works as the spring board to hold the blade in position. Everything is all metal. This has 3 torx head screws that hold the knife together. Two are T7 and one is a T9. This is another place of poor QC. I found that ALL 3 screws were loose. One needed snugged down by about 1/4 - 1/2 turn. One, was about 1/8th of a turn (this one was not bad), but the last one, needed to be twisted in by at least 3 full turns. On top that one being so loose, instead of tightening where it was supposed to stop, it just continued to keep spinning. It was stripped out on top of it. I used a micro screwdriver set to snug it down, so there is no way I put enough torque to strip it out. This screw is the one next to the carabiner clip. Both sides of the screw are supposed to sit flush. You can see how far off they are by looking at the pictures. You can not tell too much by the pictures, but the holes where the torx heads are, were not very nicely cut out either. They look very rough on the sides, especially the largest one.The whole thing comes in a plastic sealed case, like you would see hanging off of a rack at the store. Oh yea, and as you can tell by looking at the blade, it is made in china too.Overall, with no actual safety levers, and having it so stiff to open and close because of it, this will never be a 5 star item. But at the current price, if they had better QC, I would say that this could be a 4 star item. But in the condition that mine came, they are lucky I am giving them 3 stars. I feel that they also need a better description about the way that it is made, and works too. I did get mine at a discounted price for an honest review.

I’m incredibly happy with this knife and it’s just what I was ...
I’m incredibly happy with this knife and it’s just what I was looking for. First things first, I’ve attached a picture so you can see the size of this knife so make sure you check that out. It’s on the small size but that makes it great for camping and hiking. I always like to have a knife on me because they’re a very handy tool and I like to be prepared. This is a perfect knife to just keep in your backpack because it’s small and lightweight. This knife is great because it’s sharp enough to be useful and functional, I was actually surprised to see how sharp the edge was on this tool. Aside from that this has a carabiner built into the knife. If you needed quick access you could clip this to the outside of a pack or backpack. I find it useful because I attach it inside my backpack where my car keys hang so I don’t loose this in all of my other belongings and have to rummage around finding it. This blade isn’t spring loaded, to open this you pull it open and to close it you push it back shut. Overall I think this is a great blade for the price and I would recommend this product. I’m glad I purchased this at a promotional rate in exchange for my honest review.

Knife is compact but the carabiner clip is a bit weak to use as intended
With this small knife the primary selling point is the quick release carabiner which lets down an otherwise good knife. The wire the clip is made out of is a bit too thin and has too much lateral movement. If moderate pressure applied from the side with the short leg it will pop out of place to the side and the spring tension will pop it open. The blade itself is pretty sharp right out of the package and and has a nice black corrosion resistant coating right down to the edge. The oval slot in the blade does not serve much of purpose for either opening or grip and it is a through hole although it does have a nicely rounded edge which should minimize any weakness it introduces. The body of the knife is brushed stainless with 2 windows into the inner workings with blacked beveled edges and is held together with torx bolts. The center spine along the back edge of the knife is stainless and has the claw and metal wire that makes up the carabiner. The overall length of the knife is 3-1/2" closed and 5-7/8" open with the blade having a 2-1/2" sharpened edge with a bit of a drop point and is hollow ground on both sides. The knife does not have a blade lock, however that is not much of a detriment in such a small blade, and it held shut and open with moderate spring tension. It is a bit hard to open and close and requires a bit of a shifting of your grip which could be a bit awkward in a blade you will likely not use often. The body design does not offer any really assistance with grip other than the curvature of the bottom offering a bit of a finger guard although it is too small for me to wrap my big hands around to make full use of and I seem to go for a bit of a pinch grip with my thumb and forefinger with only my middle finger wrapped under the very back of the bottom edge of the handle.Overall its a pretty good knife, it is incredibly light, but it falls just short on my desire clipping in with my climbing gear as I don't want to have it floating freely around my bag. I suppose I could re-drill the holes and bend a new spring for it but there isn't a lot of extra meat in the part of the spine. It might work as a bottle opener if the spring was removed, perhaps I will try that as an alternative. I had high hopes, but if you need the clip to securely attach it I would look for something a little more robust. I received this item at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
