The 5 A.M. Revolution: Why High Achievers Wake Up Early and How You Can Do It, Too

Unrealistic
I’m not even sure where to start. I bought this book thinking it would help me get up earlier and be more productive. The first chapter seemed promising but as the book went on, the advice got more and more ridiculous. I’m not sure this author does anything else with his life except wake up and go to bed. The idea of the book in itself isn’t unreasonable, get good sleep, wake up earlier, be more productive. But the author spends 47 minutes every morning on an insane routine which includes drinking lemon turmeric water that’s warmed to the perfect temperature before drinking, meditation, writing notes, a shower, patting your body down, listening to incantations, having breakfast, and the list goes on. That’s before you get to the workout portion. I’m not sure how anyone can spend 47 minutes doing all that, workout and shower and get ready for work considering most people have to go to a gym and commute. The book also encourages an afternoon nap in a rocking chair for 20 minutes. This author clearly doesn’t work during the day. This is a brief summary of someone the absurd recommendations offered in the book. Don’t waste your time or money.

great book..
great self help book, it's better than the one famous nowadays.. the only problem is after every chapter their is an add of amazon which says to buy this that and which will eventually lead us to spend more time with technology and our daily stuffs will be dependent on technology only... so ignoring that part, its a great book
