Maglite AA Pro Plus LED Presenation Box Flashlight

This is a very good torch, a little longer then the standard AA maglite. This is my second one as I did think that I had lost my first which I had for a few years now the maglite still works with no problems at all. Yes if you drop it .you could scratch or damage it. So don't drop it and it will keep working. Thank you Maglite.

I have owned an old type Incan Mini AA since the early 90's,it's still as good as new and still gives good service,the simple and solid construction of these torches is so good you can't really go wrong with them.I remember being bowled over by how good that torch was back then and now I can honestly say I have those same feelings again,about this new LED PRO+ only multiplied by 10 times!,it is truly amazing!.Not just that the light output at the full power setting is about 17.5 times greater than my old Incan Mini,but that it is just so well constructed & beautifully finished,that it even surpasses the excellent high standards of my ol' faithful Maglite.The torch is manufacturer guaranteed for 10 years!,but look after it & I can see no reason why it should not last a lifetime.

My last Maglite torch was an AA battery one bought in the late 90s, well all I can say is that technology has moved on! The torch is very bright, perhaps not quite as bright as my Cree torch but I much prefer it as the battery lasts much longer and it has a economy mode, which admittedly is a bit of a faff to work (point the torch straight down and turn on) but it is enough light for most jobs. Great build quality and has stood up to a few drops in the last year. I use the torch for a few minutes 3 times a month and I am still on my first set of batteries.

This was a replacement for an earlier model I purchased a few years ago. Unfortunately one of the batteries leaked and I couldn't remove it, for which I don't blame Maglite though Duracell might have something to answer for. Maglites are very well engineered torches (or flashlights) and with proper care (i.e. checking the batteries occasionally) will last for years.

When I saw this on a bargain price, I had to buy it, even though I already have one! This Maglite product offers great power in a pocket-sized form - though it guzzles down batteries, of course. This Pro PLUS model of the classic AA torch has two modes, so besides the super powered beam, you can also switch it on at the power saving mode to get a longer time for use from it.
