Good replica of Wilcox
It is insane how close this mount looks and feels like a Wilcox G24. It is sturdy, positive, and has all the markings of the G24. If you saw this on a helmet, you would not be able to determine whether it was genuine or not.however, the big give away was its slightly oversized mount face. maybe by a few thousandths. I have it mounted on a HHV bump. It took a bit of pressure to get it in the mounting interface but once it was on it was absolutely rock solid. The other issue I ran into was a slightly undersized bayonet receiver. again, I had to shave a shade off of the J arm to get it to engage the lock, but it worked out. I believe this comes from the finish they use on this mount, which adds a slight amount of outer thickness to the unit as a whole. (and I mean by a tiny amount). I could be wrong, but it is not enough of an issue for me to investigate it further. If you are looking for a budget, but robust mount for NVG use- I do not see a problem with these in the slightest. We know the NV world is full of overpriced gizmos, $600 mounts, $400 J arms, it is absurd that the market continues to gouge people for little bits of machined metal. When I can build a PVS-14 housing unit for less than a set of mounts, I call BS on the cost of manufacture for name brand parts. Bravo to this company for allowing us to escape that trend.

Quality control is horrible
Do not buy these, quality control is not good. Bought it because it came highly recommended by a friend and after inspecting his I agreed. I Attached a real Wilcox dovetail to this price of garbage and now it’s stuck release button does not work and is very gritty. Not sure what the seller can do about it but I’m gonna have to mangle this thing to get my Wilcox j arm off. Save yourself the headache and just get the real thing.Edit 01-03-2022 yah Airsoft at best, theres are not as good as the Wilcox maybe good enough for most who are used to fiddle farting with things that are supposed to work out of the box. With the quality being so poor on on these, they make great toys for larpers or cosplayers. The material I had to remove just to get my shoe to fit and release reliably was bad, whoever assembled this basically soaked the whole thing in lock tight or used the rice as glue trick so disassembly involved some heat (maybe to keep it from falling apart) the metal they use is so cheap that proper tightening or removing of hardware caused the mount to destroy itself. If you bought one sell it to some broke air softer or your local hardheaded everything is just as good garage tech, they will be able to appreciate spending the cheap money to fiddling with this thing so they can justify calling this just as good.

j arm release latch tolerance is very tight
this basically is the real thing...only problem is the j arm release button latch is either 6061 when it should be 7075 or the geometry is wrong. it gets hung up on the real wilcox j arm shoe and you have to basically push the button in very hard and wiggle it off. doesnt work every time either, as it starts to gal up the wilcox shoe and becomes stuck....some 600g sandpaper to remove the anodize and soften the edge of the latch fixed the issue. i do not trust the latch tho and will always run a tether from the nvg to the helmet for insurance...which you should do regardless.FIX- see photos attached.remove the anodize with 400-600g sandpaper on the front edge of the latch. also break the edge of the latch with the sandpaper to make it slightly rounded.... remove the anodize first (this may be all you need) and check the fit. then round the latch over if need be.i also used some white lithium grease on the underside of the latch where the button interfaces with it...this is optionalif it becomes stuck you can put a "shim" into the slot right above the serial numbers 07-20-01 that is printed on the wilcox shoe (your numbers may be different, i simple listed them to show you where to shim)a feeler gauge slips in perfectly and pushes the latch down so you can remove it. you can also use a strip of pop can or something flat and thin that fits in the slot.

Almost Perfect
This unit has minor play in the fit that tells me it's near spec, and with that, the price and its functionality are still a bargain. The dovetail fit is tight, and only the Wilcox shroud has slight play in it, but I stress minor, and the bungees should mitigate this.

Great product
It's solid aluminum and durable. Works well. Mounted perfectly on my helmet! Precision machining. I would buy it again.

great product
everything is great quality but the releases are extremely stiff I'm hoping they loosen with time.

Fits good!
Works good on a basic air soft tactical helmet. Seems sturdy and will hold up to what I need it for.
