Good. Plastic.
Do the job. They come loose, so tighten them good. Ran 17t CK single speed cog with no chain rub. The CK cogs have have like a 5mm wide base. If you’re thinking of running less that 17t I’d recommend spacers between the clamps and the cog, especially if the cog does not have a wide base to it like the Chris King steel singlespeed cogs.

Great idea, not quite there for MTB
Quick easy to use and swap gears, cool idea, but loosened too easily while mountain biking. Perhaps two rings per side of cog, or two clamping screws might hold better. After repeated bouncing, moderate drops, and the occasional spill, the cog wiggled free almost every ride beyond the first few. Ended up stripping the small Alan head screw from having to loosen and reset too often.

Makes it really easy to line up the cog with the front chainring
Turn any multi-speed bike into a fixed gear bike. Makes it really easy to line up the cog with the front chainring.

Some concerns.
Lightweight and super simple. Just like my single speed. Here's an updated review.I'm bringing this back down to three stars because I noticed something. No matter how tight the clamps are, the side without a bolt will still slide around a bit. I've tried stacking the clamps with a bolt on each side, to no avail. I can grab the cog and move it around by hand. I've tried stacking everything and then compressing it all with the standard screw on lock ring, but there's still lateral movement. Maybe this doesn't matter, but I personally think it does. I can't imagine it would be a good thing for your freehub.

DIY when in a pinch. Easy substitute
Haven't received mine yet but during the mean time a good alternative for spacers is rubber bands. They actually work really well. Grab a good amount and slap those on between your cog and lock ring
