This is a really great expansion really good for necromancers

This is the first campaign book for Frostgrave and it is a good one! The scenarios are well written and are easy to leaf through. The game rules match all the scenarios and even some new rules, troop choices and options are available. A 200 page rulebook does not a good game make. Sometimes, as in this case, you can do it all, make an awesome game with great rules and a vibrant setting, and yet make it easy to learn and teach and incredibly fun. Look, this is a set of rules regarding a FRP - so asking about violence is subjective at best and its a ruleset so there isn't any "story narrated" situation in the usual sense. In other words, Amazon needs to reevaluate its ratings from above for rulesets vs the normal book standards.

This is a good campaign for Frostgrave. I am new to the game but the scenarios in here are fun to play. I plan on buying other books in the series.

The first campaign book for Frostgrave adds a new dimension to the game; one where the players must still compete to gain power for their own wizard bands but ends in a collaborative game against the Lich Lord himself. Additionally, it adds new unit types, new treasure tables, and new add ons for your base. A worthy addition to a great game, whose only flaw is that it is too short!

A great add on for this super fun game. Nicely builds upon the main rule book. If you enjoyed the base book you will be quite pleased with this.
