Half the price of others and works well. This one's a no brainer
Specs I wanted to know, but couldn't find:AC powered, no battery option (doesn't effect me).6 foot power cord4'4" insulated water hose to connector.Universal pad is 10"x11" and has own hose that's about 1 foot long.If I lift the pad to the hose's height (over 6 feet (hoses plus height of the device)) it pumps with effort with the universal pad parallel to the ground. With the pad perpendicular it stutters, but stays cold.I'm 5'11" and it will cool my shoulder while standing, or head while stuttering. Not that I'd use it standing. It has 2 switches, on/off and a timer switch with continuous mode.I love not having ice bags, but hate having a 4' leash (helps keep me on bedrest though).Used 1 full day, I've had to refill the ice about every 4 hours (I didn't fully fill it though (not enough ice), and I've had no leaks. If I get them, I'll edit the post.Overall very happy, and at the price, I think it's a no-brainer. I'll be using this for many future injuries and aches.I wish I knew these devices existed years ago.

great product
so much better than trying to fill ice bags and running back and forth, I fill it up once a day and it keeps working almost all day. I can strap the pad on my leg and no slipping around or having to adjust it every few minutes. able to keep leg iced as prescribed. I tried with ice pack on the other Knee and it was messy and cumbersome to try and keep the knee iced per the Doctors orders. I would highly recommend this product

Make it part of the surgical recovery plan!!!!
I had rotator cuff surgery on March 14, 2014. I wore this from the moment I got home from the hospital. The hospital staff actually attached the pack in the operating room for us! It circulated ice cold, pain relieving water around the site constantly. There is no doubt that it helped in the healing. I am two weeks out and have just stopped using the product. (constant- first week, on and off second)Go get the as part of any after care for surgery - It is so helpful and made very well!

Works for intended use
This product works as expected. I figured from the price that it wouldn't be the latest and greatest model, but also wouldn't be complete junk. After use, it was exactly that middle of the road option I wanted. It allowed me to circulate cold throughout the pad without having to constantly grab a new ice pack. I filled the unit up with ice/water as directed, and it worked as expected. One problem was that at the connection between the machine and the pad it leaked water slowly. While annoying, I simply wrapped a towel around that connection and problem solved. Otherwise, after an hour or so you'll have a puddle. But it wasn't bad enough to not buy the machine, and it may have been caused from me connecting/disconnecting the pad the first couple of days of use.So overall, I liked it.

Much better than ice!
Load this puppy up with some ice and water and you are good to go. My wife has been using it post knee replacement and it has been great. The only down side is that it's so convenient and easy you have to be careful not to leave it on too long. Her PT told her after about 20 mins. or so the cold constricts the blood flow too much and it actually works against healing. So, we're using the timer now to keep us honest. Before we just left it on continuous and my wife then complained the knee became achy after about 30 mins. Other than that, you can't beat this thing. Strap it in place, set the timer, turn it on and get ready for some cold relief. I highly recommend this product!

Not a bad unit, but mine failed after four days of use.
My unit was sold to me by "Med Supply Team". I was happy with the unit, although I was surprised at how small the cooler is. The description states it will provide cooling for 6 - 8 hours, but in my experience, that was more like 4 - 6 hours. The unit works well, is pretty quiet, but has a small capacity compared to any other unit that I've evaluated for purchase, yet is quite a bit less expensive too.Having said all that, my unit FAILED after four days of use. I was just back home from the hospital after a total knee replacement, and the pump stopped pumping. The power supply showed power "on" but no go. I guess this happens sometimes: you get an "infant mortality" as they call it. I contacted the seller, Med Supply Team, and they provided a full refund, no further questions asked and no hassles. THAT is the way to stand behind the products you sell! I couldn't be happier with Med Supply Team and I would buy from them in a heartbeat. So, three stars for the product itself, but FIVE STARS for the seller!

This cryotherapy unit was absolutely wonderful. The catcher's mitt shaped part can go around ...
70 year old, large boned fellow. I got total knee 6 weeks ago. This cryotherapy unit was absolutely wonderful. The catcher's mitt shaped part can go around the knee, under it, over it and up and down the leg. I spend probably 4 hours on it watching tv.The unit is easy to use, worked without flaws from the first time. I only empty part of the water every day and just add ice to fill it to recommended level. It is great!
