How lightfast are the colors?

Does anyone know if these are vegan like kuretake, or not?

Traditional black sumi ink uses ox gall as a binder. Since the base for these colors is that ink, they would not be considered vegan. I keep hoping they will make something similar using a different binder.

Are these water resistant when dry?

No they are not resistant, i can almost erase it with my brush. But I am thinking if we put a dab of traditional india ink or Chinese ink on the color, it could become more resistant. I will try that and come back to comment.

Do you also have the shadow black Mei set?

The name on the back of the box is "Shadow Black 15452."
