Yes, I believe it would work. I just ran water on it, and it worked perfectly.

Depends on what kind of pen. As shown in the video, you can use marker or ball pens to write on them, while gel or water-based pens cannot. Of course, these black gold washi tapes may be more suitable for decoration rather than as a background for writing.

I try to imagine why you should wash this washi tape. For your question, If you want to wash off the glue and paste it with hot glue, you may wash off the bronzing on the tape.
