PURA Filtration Pad 1530 (15 inch x 30 inch)

I had a problem with the phosphate level in my 45gal bowfront, I talked to my PetShop man and he turned me on to this filter. I do regular water changes every 2 weeks and change the filter my water is nice and clear and phosphates are under control. Been using them for 2 months now

This is a great addition to the many varieties of filter media available. I can attest to its superior performance. The media was placed in my API-XM Canister filter and it singlehandedly brought my Aquarium to a level of clarity it has rarely attained.Great product

Phenomenal filter pad. By the far the best I've found so far. I use this with Chemi-Pure Blue which also contains GFO and reduces phosphates. Make sure you replace this filter pad at least every 3-4 weeks depending on your bio-load. I use this product on all my canister filters and it keep everything in check. I wish it came pre-cut for both SunSun and Fluval 06 series canister filters.

Have used for years with my saltwater tank as supplemental filtration to control algae (nitrates and phosphate control). Works great. Can be combined with chemi pure elite for fantastic water quality results

They clog easily, especially after you've rinsed them off already.

This item is a great filter, so great it even filters water. After putting it in my sump i noticed the water near the filter tray was flowing over. I had to cut a 1" strip so that water would actually go around this. So instead I put it towards the bottom of the BIO-Ball tray, works much better down there. Still using my cheap filter stuff from the local pet store, i think that this is a much better setup anyway. Water stays cleaner longer now, less changes of the water too.

Buying the larger pad is the best deal. Works great with my BioCube 29. It does an amazing job at keeping water crystal clear.
