This product is very poorly made, with several letters having defects and some blocks even chipped right out of the packaging. I let my 7 month old play with a block that wasn't damaged, and within a half hour he was able to chew off the paint and part of the wood. I'm fairly laid back about things, but this is just not right. I would not consider it safe for children who might chew on it, and even then they are poorly made and can be easily chipped. I actually just tested scraping at the paint and it comes off with just my fingernail. Do NOT buy this product for your child!

I loved the packaging and little bag it came in but when I took the wooden boxes out of the bag while they were still in the wrapping a few of them were already chipped and peeled. Honestly, it’s a poorly made product as I wouldn’t want these paint chips in my child’s mouth. I will be trying to return these. Didn’t even bother using them as they are obviously chipped from cheap paint.

I recently had a mishap with a Christmas tree my mother made me years ago. I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to find any new blocks so I could reconstruct the tree using all the ornaments she had collected and glued to the blocks to form a decorated tree. These blocks were perfect. The size was nearly identical and they worked perfectly for my project. Quality was extremely good. Shipped quickly. Very pleased with the results.

I got this set for my two year old daughter and the set is just ok. They are smaller then what I was thinking they were going to be but they work for what I needed. My daughter has a speech delay and we are working on letters with her right now and this set does the job. The nice thing about this set is that it comes with a bag to store the blocks in. This is just a simple small alphabet block set and I'm happy with my purchase. Just be aware of the size that you are wanting as the blocks are small. Other then that I would recommend this block set.

Like other reviews mentioned, these blocks are very small and not suitable for young children. However, they are good for craft projects. One main con is that some of the letters are repeated on the same block thus preventing certain words from being spelled out. In my case the letters E, K, Q, W, T, H and N were repeated on both sides of the same block. I would have liked more of a variety of colors but we fixed that with a variety of paint pens. And there are some painting snafu's but nothing major. Overall I like the blocks but found there aren't a lot of options out there to find such a set, especially in the original size(these are 1" blocks and I believe the original ones were 2" blocks).
