Don't use if you are not strong in the hands!
I have had my Ikea garlic press for about 10 years, and saw this new garlic crusher advertised and though it would be ideal. The man was throwing garlic cloves under the blade and getting lovely crushed garlic quickly and easily. NOT so easy when you try it yourself. With soft garlic it just turns the whole thing to mush, and with firm garlic you need a lot of strength in your hand to actually crush it. I am an older lady, but not without any strength. My husband does seem mostly able to get something that resembles crushed garlic, but for me I will go back to my Ikea press. Wish I hadn't bothered, but like always I read the reviews and this seemed the prefect thing for quickness. Sadly in my case this was not so. Looks a good item, but I guess to have to try it to find out, and luckily it was not expensive.

Woeful. There's a reason garlic presses are still a thing.
There's a reason those folding garlic presses are still a thing.Despite being invented over 70 years ago, the design of the garlic press has stayed largely unchanged for one simple reason: It's a very well thought out tool that does its job quickly and very efficiently, with little effort and hardly any waste.This...thing... is like the opposite of all of the above. In concept it looks like it should work. In practice though, it hasn't really been thought through.I'm no weakling, but I found it a real chore to chop garlic with this.Garlic is quite a hard substance, and while a garlic press uses the power of leverage to crush it with relative ease, with this rocker the leverage is you, and your arms. That's ok, you say, I'm a beefy sort and should be fine - I can put my weight behind it.Except that getting the leverage to do the job at counter height, while technically possible, is not really easy (unless you're 6'10" and can bear down from above with your whole body weight). It takes several times as long, and infinitely more exertion to crush a clove of garlic than it would in a normal press, and the results are smeared all over the place and embedded into the tool itself. And cleaning that mess out of the rocker actually introduces its own challenges. As I said, it seems like a good idea, but in reality it's just not up to the task.Save your money.Or, if not, then save your energy and go for a folding press.

Simply genius products
Finally a garlic press that completely crushes the garlic without whole chunks being pushed out on the sides like in the classic version of garlic presses... This product is simply little genius with added meat tenderiser as well that is the most quieter in comparison to original "hammer style" tenderisers, no more worrying about waking up/disturbing the neighbours... The added bonus of garlic peeler is great too... little orange peeler thing haven't had a chance to try yet... But the price was an absolute bargain for all these gadgets... Thank you

Waste of money - don’t buy!
I bought this product given all the great reviews. But unfortunately it turned out to be a waste of money. It is so so much easier and quicker to just grate the garlic. This takes forever, takes a lot of hard work and there is also a lot of waste. It’s also very difficult to clean. Don’t recommend it. Stick to a grater - you’ll save a lot of time

Great!
Fantastic quality! Does what it should & the included brush is strong enough to release garlic from the rocker… easy to clean, no complaints 😊

Hard to use
Can only do 1 or 2 cloves each time, it also can’t press the garlic completely- still has bottom bit left, which can’t be pressed at all.

Easy to use crusher
I have only used the garlic crusher here and it is great. The other add ons are not really needed. This crusher is great . Easy to control and press. Leaving finely crushed garlic. I used to buy with long handles but they all broke in time. Am hoping this lasts longer.

I’m 73 and this is the best garlic crusher I have owned!
Whilst you are crushing the garlic on the board, it even picks up all the garlic from the board to push through the press, wonderful piece of kit. Wish I had found it when it first came out. Whenever that was😊 thank you! x
